These overstock ones, or 3" memory foam in general...for a huge discussion on memory foam, go here. Overall, there's probably nothing more comfortable you can sleep on than memory foam tho. You probably don't want anything thinner than 2" in general. I have this one from another etailer and its work to sleep without one in a regular bed again.

I finally got an email from O that they were able to cancel my order.

The rep told me how difficult it was to cancel because their system is designed for low cost and customer efficiency, but he was able to do it anyways.

I wrote back if they didn't have such a crappy system it wouldn't have been so difficult, but thanks anyways. :D

the twin size memory foam mattress topper is only $89 at costco. i think the full size was only $99. not too sure what the queen and king size cost.

but it looks cheaper @ costco and with costco, you can actually return it if you don't like it.

What a crappy system they have.

I placed my order for $95.99 and when I clicked submit, I was greeted with a thank you note and $120.99 charged on my credit card. So I called their customer support and they said order once placed cannot be cancelled and they cannot alter the price either.
After some heated argument, I said Fine, I wall call Amex and issue a stop payment and customer service replied Its your call sir!!

So I did call Amex, and after 2 days I got an email from Overstock saying my order was cancelled.

That's the second time its happened in this thread. The only reason why I ordered one was to see if it happened to everyone, altho they cancelled it after I b!tched enough.

And they are so full of cr@p...if they have a big pricing error that everyone takes advantage of, they 'find a way' amazingly quickly to cancel the orders.

Had no shipping confirm. as of last night. 8:30 this morning there was a knocking on my door, 68507, opened it, and yep, Fed Ex. had my Ostock Cal King foam pad. 43Lbs, he was glad to set it down, and took off, no signature required.

I have a full (52x72?) mattress, so after I got the critter un-folded, I let it relax for 8 hours and then measured the Cal King. It was 70 x 78 as I recall, so I sliced 29in off one side (use a electric knife, cuts like buttter), and ended up with 70x 50 pad. I might have 1" of mattress all edges, not covered by pad, but that what I wanted for fitted sheets, etc, and who sleeps right on the last 1" edge of the mattress.

Looking forward to pounding, err... sleeping on it tonight.

A thin sheet to zip around the topper to keep the bed from getting too warm. Something like this Link

Thanks, OP. I bought the cal king but I use a twin bed. I'm going to cut it up to make two. I tried to get the 4% FW credit but it wouldn't stack with the $25 coupon.

If you tried to get it you just might. I'm not sure what I did but fcash showed up 6 days later. (actually it showed up 10x...$40...they said that will be corrected tho. :D)

Has anyone found any alternative covers that are cheaper? Btw, I ordered the King and got confirmation yesterday.

Did you guys actually get 4lb density toppers?

I just got one and it only weighed about 22lbs for the queen size, about 10lbs short of a 4lb density queen.
