I said you pick and choose to read the posts because earlier you put the words in my mouth that I would marry a b!tchy model rather then the 5'1" nice girl. I then replied no, I would move on to the next girl that I find physically attractive and mentally attractive. You then repeated the same argument again that I would rather marry the b!tchy model.

You also said you would never put yourself in the position to get attracted to a fat chick and thus you would never "fall in love" with one. This is 100% the same thing I am saying, so I don't know how you can say those things to me when you are saying the exact same thing.

And like everything, there are exceptions to the rule, i'm not setting this in stone, it's just kind of a general rule for me.

And then you say all of my claims are flawed? I'm claiming stuff?

I weigh in at 250 pounds at 5'8, fat percentage 7%, am i overweight?

Yes, yes you are.

Uhhhhh nd, do you have any clue how hard it is to achieve 7% body fat for a guy that weighs 250??? In case you didn't know, which your ignorance proves, IT'S A PRETTY DAMN HARD ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Perhaps you need to recalibrate your humor detector. The tone of my post seemed pretty obvious to me

<< There's nothing sexier than a 300 pound black woman...to a 300 pound black woman at least -- Chris Rock >>

lol, that reminds me of Deuce Bigalow...

I think it is genetically programed into us. primitively saying - We see it as a sign of bad health/genes, which means that persons genes won't help our offspring survive best.

well it seems to me that the term "overweight" already carries the notion of undesireability. to someone who finds a large person attractive, she wouldn't be overweight, but just right. heheh

It all depends on the shape. If a woman has gained so much weight she looks like a blob, than no, I can't find that physically attractive.

On the other hand, I've dated women who were size 14, and had curves that drove me wild. I've dated women who were a size 4, and looked like a stick with tits. I prefer the size 14 shaply woman over a stick with tits any day. 😀

Actually, bigger women were prefered before the start of the 20th century. They had "large child bearing hips." and were more able to bear children without complication. Thin or skinny women were seen as "unhealthy" and not robust.

Thin women have only been considered attractive for a hundred years or so.

this guy stated my feelings perfectly. I can give a fvck how much you weigh on the scale. if you present yourself positively and maintain a good appearance, then that makes for a very attractive person!

But besides that, all I see is the words, fat, skinny, thick, and chunky being thrown around. What ever happened to the word NORMAL. Isn't there such a thing as a *normal* weight. Geeee, imagine that. Someone is neither fat, nor skinny. They must be N O R M A L weight.

This is just one of my HUGE pet peeves about todays society. If you're not skinny, you're fat. There is no grey area. It pisses me off to no end. Someones weight don't mean sh!t. It's all about how the clothes fit. I really feel sorry for you guys saying you won't date a woman over XXX pounds. The last two girls that I've dated weighed around 145 pounds. But you know what, they were cross country runners. visgf could probably run laps around a lot of you here, as well as out squat and out dead lift you. Was she heavier than a lot of other girls. Yes. Was she "fat", "chunky", or "plump". HELL NO. The girl was cut, and quite a bit of muscle mass to her. Simply labling a weight and saying that you won't date a girl over that weight is just childish. There are SOOOO many other important issues to deal with besides something trivial like that.

haha this randomly reminded me of a quote i heard somewhere:

Marriage is like eating at a Chinesse restauraunt. Your happy with what you have until you see what the person at the next table has. 🙂 🙂

It really depends on the woman. Her personality and whether or not she has an attitude about her weight. Then again that can apply to any woman I have met.
I don't mind a woman being overweight a bit, they can be alot of fun to be around.
To be honest, if she is grossly overweight, say 500 Lbs, I doubt if I would go out with her.
For a serious relationship would really depend on her attitude and views of life. That is just the facts for my taste. 🙂

I like it when I can feel something when I pinch 🙂
or grabs or .....
I don't want to feel bone when I do that.

I know I'm not attracted to overweight women, and I don't feel I was brainwashed into it either.

Me, well, I grew up an athlete, so I guess it's women athletes that really do the trick for me... I think you're more physically attracted to those people that fit your personality's body type. Example: I can be a lardo (thankfully I'm not anymore), but having an athletic personality will draw me toward athletic women.

But, like it has always been said, there is someone for everyone. 😀

<< I weigh in at 250 pounds at 5'8, fat percentage 7%, am i overweight? >>

I don't believe that statement any further than I could throw you. 7%, get real! Why aren't you lining up at running back in the NFL with that build?

It is probably not so much "fat" as it is "unhealthy". Most people are attracted to healthy people. Some fat people tend to look unhealthy.

Weight means nothing. Muscle weighs more than fat. A woman could be 200 pounds of muscle and look sensational (if she still has a chest at all) or 200 pounds of mostly fat and look terrible.

HEALTHY is the key. If the person has a few nice curves, but can still move around and excercise, is not FAT (in the healthy sense of the word), can still go up several flights of stairs without having a cardiac arrest, go swimming/cycling/chase the kids around/etc...
Healthy. If you're too heavy to move around effectivly, get winded from so much as walking a couple blocks, eat too much fatty foods.... that's where the problems are.
My wife is nicely right in the middle. Healthy. Not Ally McStringbean or Blubber McNeil, but has a few very nice curves, over 150lbs, but less than 200lbs, 5'9" or so..
Not a track & field star, but not a fat lump confined to the sofa either. We get out and bike ride, walk, hike, and other recreational sports. Normal, healthy living.

It's those people who have gone to excess (obesity) that can be found unattractive - to everyone except someone even worse off. 🙂

I had a friend who was overwieght, and turned down a date with a very nice girl - why? She wasn't skinny enough for him. Hello? She's thinner than you, pal! He just didn't get it. I guess we all have to live with the fact some people just have their preferences no matter how skewed they may sometimes be.

vi_edit, I dont go to the gym and my body fat is 7%, genetics I guess, I eat crap like fast food all the time, stays the same, and I have a six-pack with no situps 🙂 PHEAR.

Just wait a few years... the old metabolism will slow down and you'll blow up like a helium-filled balloon. 😛 Enjoy it now, because you will have to work your ass off to stay in that shape when you get old like me 🙂
