Putting a reserve on an item for the pure sake of selling it to make a profit is just as unehtical as someone souring thier sale.
What? Do you even think before you type? So by your reasoning, selling an item for profit is unethical? Well genius, what would be the point of selling an item if you couldn't make a profit? I swear, you people are acting like its the same as gouging for gas/food/water after a natural disaster. This is a toy. Don't cry to us because you didn't get in early enough to get one at retail. Don't hate those who were luckier/smarter/better than you that did get in early and get one or two to sell. Supply and demand. Live it, learn it, love it, DEAL WITH IT.
So what if it's a toy? Who cares? It still shouldn't be gouged. You don't need gas to survive either, yet you'd whine if that was being gouged, wouldn't you? I'm tired of the double standards. Items vary of importance to different people. Maybe you don't give a rat's ass about a gaming console, and that's fine, neither do I. And maybe the person who plays games all day doesn't give a rat's ass about gas because he's rich and has an electric car. Tell me your hobby and I bet you'd be pissed if the means by which you performed it were being gouged too. Wouldn't you take action? Not that I support 5150Joker's actions in the least, but I think any reseller of consoles should have to abide by MSRP rules when the supply<demand. When there's enough supply at the stores, I don't care what people do with them. But when people are standing in line just to take someone else's and gouge it on ebay, it's asinine.
