THAT SUCKS....rescue folks are going to get f'd up if they aren't prepared with HAZMAT suits and such....

I think he's just laughing due to the irony of it actually being inside the firehouse. It's like when a firehouse is on fire... it's not funny, but it is at the same time :p

an emergency inside the firehouse...sigh. Id suppose youd have to be there when my brothers chief comes out, pulls the firealrm at the station and tells everyone to get out...of the fire station...for a fire alarm...

So what is the firehouse doing storing chlorine gas anyway?

I mean, it's not like cylinders of chlorine are standard equipment on an ambulance or firetruck, right?

My bad...I didn't realize it stated in the firehouse..I thought you meant it somehow traveled into a firehouse...


I was thinking this happened in a fertilizer factory etc....

Please, at least take pic from inside your house if possible. And remeber to close any open windows and firelplaces. And if you can, Ducktape and platic sheeting. And a HEPA filter.

CLTV just had a news update and nothing was mentioned about a leak.

Can you give us more info IE which fire house it is, one near Good Sam, off of Main Street, or another one?

55th and main, station 2. They have main blocked off and 55th as well, 55th starting at duhnam and ending probably at fairaview. Not sure about main, but they are parking units at the lincoln center.
