Can someone give some information on the Armenian one because this is something that I have not learned in school growing up and I do not feel like googling it either.

In the Armenian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem they have posters up on the walls all over depicting what it calls the "map of the Amrenian holocaust".

from http://www.familyguyquotes.com/characters/brian-quotes.html

(Brian and Stewie are on a German tour bus.)
German Tour Guide: You vill find more on Germany's contributions to ze arts in ze pamphlets ve have provided.
Brian : Yeah, about your pamphlet... uh, I'm not seeing anything about German history between 1939 and 1945. There's just a big gap.
Tour guide: Everyone vas on vacation. On your left is Munich's first city hall, erected in 15...
Brian : Wait, what are you talking about? Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and...
Tour Guide: We were invited. Punch vas served. Check vit Poland.
Brian : You can't just ignore those years. Thomas Mann fled to America because of Nazism's stranglehold on Germany.
Tour guide: Nope, nope. He left to manage a Dairy Queen.
Brian : A Dairy Queen? That's preposterous.
Tour guide: I vill hear no more insinuations about the German people. Nothing bad happened. Sie werden sich hinsetzen. Sie werden ruhig sein. Sie werden nicht beleidigen Deutschland. You will sit down. You will shut up. You will not insult Germany. (Throws his hand up in a Hitler salute.)
Brian : Uh, is that a beer hall?
Tour guide: (Snapping out of it) Oh yes, Munich is renowned for its historic beer halls.

Seriously though, there's a lot of global issues centered around different nations dealing with (sometimes atoning for) their own attrocities. Each has taken different approaches - Germany, Japan, etc. Some continually apologize for it, some try to ignore it, and even others rewrite history books to pretend they didn't happen.

What about the Hindu holocaust where the Muslims killed millions of Hindus? The Hindu Kush mountains literally means "Hindu Slaughter Mountains".

History is ugly with many nasty things that we may not want to dig up. We should work to, in this century at least, a better world for all people.

Schlinder's list is fictionalized, but I don't understand how they could ban Night and Fog other than it being too disturbing. Schindler's List doesn't even come close to how despicable the Nazi's were. Thankfully the Nazi's kept meticulous records, visual and artifacts so we know what happened was true. That, of course was eventually their undoing.

Night and Fog the Criterion Collection

Night and Fog the Criterion Collection

It has nudity and some violence, but Schindler's List is pretty mild overall considering what they could have shown.

And the Hindu Kush means Hindu killers, not slaughter ;) (Yeah, yeah, big difference ;) it is sometimes debated though)

Uncivilized people killing each other is one thing. You sort of expect that from them. Civilized people systematically destroying an ethnic group(s) because they think they're evil worthless dogs and performing "medical experiments" (i.e. torture) on them is another. Also the Holocaust was quite recent in history.

Armenia was the first and oldest country to accept Christianity. The Turks massive slaughtered them because they were acient Christians. It was the biggest murder the world has ever seen.

1,000,000 Armenians killed in 1 week by swords

Just a question so please don't flame me but didn't the Russians die by mainly Jewish hands at that time?

What? No. What makes you think that?

I read somewhere, can't remember where but there was a massacre in Russia, that was carried out by Jewish fanatics.. I can't recall where I read this but can someone clarify if something like this ever happened? I read it just can't remember where.

I think you're talking about the Bolsheviks or something and people claim they were all Jews that massacred millions of Russians. Not sure if this is some White supremacist propaganda but here you go: http://www.heretical.com/miscellx/bolshies.html

WTF is this thread doing in OT? :|

Since it's off topic? should be political? I don't know

A thread debating the severity of the Holocaust versus other mass slaughters is a highly political subject.

Dude the Hindus were in diapers before invaders taught them about clothing. I think Gandhi even wore that diaper when he was rebelling against the British.
