So I owe my parents money on my car. I've given my dad $1300 so far this summer, in addition to the $2000 I gave him originally for the car(the car cost $3000)...he keeps trying to tell me that I owe him $1800, which is total garbage. I looked over his numbers, he has it on two seperate sheets. The one starts at $2000, and with insurance and other expenses ends up at $2800, then you subtract $1300, and another $500 because they weere supposed to give me an LCD monitor for graduation but didn't, so they took it off my debt. $1800, so $1000 left. The only reason I'm getting that $500 is cuz they bought my brother a $500 computer when he went, so since I already have one, its only fair that I get something. So my dad showed me the other sheet, the one he is going by, it somehow ends up at $2800 after my payments. I complain about it being wrong, cuz he seems to have charged me for insurance twice(it looked like the second sheet started where the first one stopped), he was like no I just rewrote it to be more clear, I was like oh ok so why did you start at $2838 instead of $2000? He didn't have an answer, but he still thinks I owe him that extra $800. Agh I hate that man
