Oh, and that email is sending....I have no clue how long this is going to take (even though supposedly I have a fast upload speed).

It would probably be faster to send over AIM, actually...

yes there are saves in that folder. just look at how big the SAVE folder is and deduct that from the total amount.

I was just wondering, because I can't play HL2 either, and there was an update for that as well. So for the guys that have both working, I was wondering if there was a difference in file size for them.

Oh yea I know, im not talking crap, just saying still not working, and i know it cost me $60 to pley this and ill be damned if i cant play it!

same here, currently downloading from content server 19

EDIT: no go, my hl2dm folder is actually smaller than it has been all night. I hate valve right now.

OK, finished downloading from content server 23 (again).

Still not working.

one thing I noticed, even after deleting the local game (deathmatch) content, and also manually deleting the folder, it still says there's 98% already aquired. then when downloading it goes from 98% to 100%, which takes abot 30 seconds. from there I have just one mdmp file. but if I click launch again, it adds another...

dont complain on speeds, i dont know the full speed possible for sure. but i have unlimited bandwidth
