Anybody have any trouble after the update? Ican't play HL2, CS: Source, HL: Source or any game based on the source engine... Old games like the original CS still work. I want to be able to play my games. Please help!!

nope none of my source engine games besides HL2DM are working either.

bah, restarted, tried on another computer, etc... still not working for me

NONE of the games work now after dling HL2DM! ARGH!!!
 
A friend of mine is having that problem where all his games stopped working too. That's weird. Do you guys have the CD version?
 
After a restart I could load HL2 and HL:Source; CS:S still doesn't work though. I bought it off of Steam BTW not retail.
 
Okay, my server is downloading the hl2mp server now 🙂.

Should be done in a few minutes, those of us that CAN play the game, i'm going to password the server for a little bit to give us a chance to play cause I noticed all the other servers were full!

Once it's up, i'll post and let you guys know 🙂
 
This is flipping BULLSHIT. I fight my system for a week straight to get HL2 to work, and love the game enough to forget about the bugs. Download the update for HL2DM and now HL2 won't load at all. FVCK THIS.

I've got the steam version and none of my source games are working. It says it done downloading (and steam shows no network activity), so I dunno what's going on... 🙁

yeah... The first release had bad audio stuttering. After patching, the stuttering was less, but then it started crashing. Now I can't get it to load.

IM going!! But I don't know why the linux dedicated server insists on installing the models and sounds....it's not like I can play the game through ssh 😕
 
I can get HL2 and HL:Source to work find but no CS:S... weird. HL2DM works fine too but all the servers are laggy and shut down every 5-10 minutes.
