OMG I nearly laughed my nose off when I took out my first victim with a file cabinet!! The flying toilet bowl kill icon = motherfvcking gold!!!

Its really fun, really fast paced too. You can have some pretty crazy battles with the gravity gun, throwing and catching radiators, chairs, filing cabinets, sinks, and whatnot. The funnest thing is walking up on 3 people dancing in a circle with their sub-machineguns and leveling them all with a flaming barrel or table:laugh:

If you have HL2 installed and running with Steam up to date, I think the download was 38 megs last night when starting HL2DM for the first time.

it was actaully fun today. played on a non-laggy server. so many ppl playing are horrible though. i passed 1st place (who had 50 kills when i started) in half an hour.

the hl2 dm has some serious potential. try playing the hl2 version of crossfire. its a little bit buggy but the new weapons are killer! great game and well worth the wait imo :beer:

I agree. I was obliterating the other guys on the ATOT server last night. I think it's because they don't regularly play CS.

server code is brutal. I believe at least. I think the physics in the game, with many people playing, kill the server. I get periodic freezes on most servers.

bbah they shoulda just called it hl furniture throw down all u do is toss furniture at each other. if it were in sims land atleast it would be a little amusing suburban mahem. but right now its just toss furniture at people, because the guns are so nerfed that nothing else really racks up kills they really shoulda atleast allowed headshots. u can pistol someone in the head 10 times and nothing happens lol

I find the machine gun quite uesful...racked up 70% my kills with that thing.

game was pretty good. major lag on my computer, guessing i'm going to have to turn down the details to play at good frames. netcode is struggling but it's good if you're on a fast server.

With only 2 maps at the moment, I find it pretty dull. But, that may be because I only am able to use the magnum, standard pistol, smg, and gravity gun, as I can not find the others. When first playing, I found it pretty fun.
