Jesus H! Hey, Pollyanna - go take a Midol already....
What? Like you expected me not to point out that it was right there, staring him in the face? He asked where Hillary's campaign said that, I showed where, he glossed right over it and said it wasn't in there, and so I showed him exactly where it was in there.

That was my point all along. Her opponents aren't upset that she's playing that game, they are upset that she's lying about it. His outrage with her opponents was based on the assumption that she never lied. Now he and others who keep ignoring what it is truly about should understand. Would you rather they KEEP assuming that this is selective outrage from the right?

I'll show you where it's @
"David Hale, the source of criminal allegations against the Clintons, claimed in November 1993 that as governor of Arkansas, Clinton had pressured him into providing an illegal $300,000 loan to Susan McDougal, the Clintons' partner in the Whitewater land deal.[3] Clinton supporters regarded Hale's allegations as questionable, as Hale had not mentioned Clinton in reference to this loan during the original FBI investigation of Madison Guaranty in 1989; only after coming under indictment for this in 1993 did Hale make allegations against the Clintons.[4]
A U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission investigation did result in convictions against the McDougals for their role in the Whitewater project, but the Clintons themselves were never prosecuted, as three separate inquiries found insufficient evidence linking them with the criminal conduct of others related to the land deal.[5] Bill Clinton's successor as governor, Jim Guy Tucker, was also convicted and served time in prison for his role in the fraud. Susan McDougal later served 18 months in prison for contempt of court for refusing to answer any questions relating to Whitewater, and was granted a pardon by President Clinton just before leaving office.
The term Whitewater is also sometimes used to include other controversies from the Bill Clinton administration, especially those such as Travelgate, Filegate, and the circumstances surrounding Vince Foster's death, that were investigated by the Whitewater independent counsel.[6]"
Whitewater.
It doesn't mention the plane full of people that died that were connected:
You would be hard-pressed to find info on that on the internet;but it is there.

"What difference does it make"?
Fuck that.

I'm sure Senator Ted Cruz will be glad for that endorsement and feature it in his Presidential bid....

I think a large number of women may need a dose of soul searching when it comes to not so much Hillary, but this idea of actually electing a woman as president and then having a woman serving in the highest office of the free world.

While for the most part we now live in this era of equality and post women's lib, a lot of women still believe in the old fashion ideas that the man is the head of the household. That the woman, while maybe equal, must still put the mans desires first before her own.
And that old fashion thinking is not reserved for just women over 50 or 60 per se, but many women regardless of age group.

I find this within my own family and relatives.
Where the idea of a woman running the nation and the free world is too alien of a concept.
They still firmly believe it is the man that should have the final say and sit in highest judgment.
And I've found that a lot of my own female relatives, sisters, aunts, cousins, nieces do not realize their attitude has been so hard coded in nature until something comes along as a woman running for president.

The idea of Hillary for president is abhorrent to their very concept of fellow women.
But when I dig deeper, they realize it is not Hillary so much they oppose, but this idea of any woman daring to run for such high office.
VP? Oh, that would be fine.
But president of the United States? How dare she.

So I think women have a bit of soul searching to do.
They really need to ask themselves, is it Hillary they detest? Or the idea of any women as president?

My little "don't F with me" Hillary jokes I keep posting, and I have a lot more rolling around in my head, I post to make a point.
That electing a strong ball kicking woman for the office of US presidency could be the best thing for America since electing FDR.

Should Hillary be the chosen one? The first? Will she be good?
I believe yes. She is good enough. Plenty good enough for the first.
I believe if she is elected, people will be quite surprised how firm handed she runs the country, and her strong armed ability when dealing with the rest of the world.

You need to think of this far beyond the petty frailties often associated with women.
You need to think of this as a strong minded woman, able to get things done.
It is not going to be about emails or servers.
This is all about standing up to Putin, ISIS, terrorist, the banks, inequality, and firmly dealing with our friends as well as our foes.
And I have no doubts that Hillary is just the strong willed individual to do the job.
That fact she comes off as strong willed, primary.
The fact she is a woman, secondary.
The way that it should be.

As for many women out there?
And men, for all that matter?
A lot of soul searching in the works.

There are those that will object to Hillary because she is Hillary.
But simply because she is a woman?
That is not her problem. That is your problem to soul search.

I'm only taking the time to set the record straight with those here who want to mischaracterize it as "conservatives upset about standard-practice politicking."

Did you miss the first line?

That was their title to their press release.

Once again: it's not the cherry picking that bothers me, it's lying about it.
I was honestly asking at first because I hadn't seen the source. The second time, yes I did miss that first line. I was just making sure the outrage wasn't over some miscommunication bullshit. I now give you permission to rage away at this horrendous abuse of our trust. I won't even argue the semantics about how "everyday Iowans" can or cannot be interpreted.

TBH, I don't think our country will ever be able to recover from this breach. All of the previous lies, the thousands by Democrats and billions by Republicans, all dwarfed by this callous, arguably malicious, act. May God have mercy on our souls. Maybe a beheading is in order.

Who the hell cares if she is a woman or not?

I hate the bitches' political views, if she stood for things I believed in I would vote for her...all you ass clowns who only want to "vote for a woman" because she is a woman need to get a clue. Gender is not a qualifier for office, ethnicity is not a qualifier...

According to werepossum the burden is on us to go research his insane claims and debunk them. He already knows what he knows, facts be damned.

HEY, he told us he heard it in a conversation, 20 years ago. He didn't claim there was anyone else besides him in that conversation. :p

On a more serious note, werepossum mystifies me. I've seen him make thoughtful, substantive, even humane posts. But then he'll go off on hysterical, off-kilter, unsubstantiated diatribes that can make you think he's a Michael1980 level, ideologically-induced idiot.

The GOP economic policies are an unmitigated disaster in every possible way. The GOP is hell bent on driving our economy into the ground in order to make greedy people even more rich than they already are. No thanks.
