Dateline Iowa ... Candidates Manage Campaign Events!!!

OK, so Hillary managed her campaign event -- just like EVERY OTHER candidate.

Yes, they try to stack the deck with friendlies and weed out the ringers -- again nothing new here and here's why. If you aren't careful about who gets in you WILL have operatives of the opposition come in to cause trouble. The republicans are notorious for there hostile efforts to exclude anyone that isn't a drooling supporter.

Getting worked up about this is pathetic. It's likely the repubs tried to get into her event to cause trouble and were pissed they were denied. The complaining about it after the fact serves two purposes: first, lather up the drooling right (check), and second, put pressure on Hillary's team to be more open so they have a better chance of getting in to cause trouble.

To the drooling righies that frequent this site ... will you be pissed when YOUR guy is demonstrated to have excluded "regular people" from there events?

Brian
Why are you completely ignoring the actual criticism that she lied about who she was talking to? It's one thing to manage campaign events. It's another thing entirely to portray them as open, unmanaged, free-for-all campaign events that prove she has what it takes to hold her own against any challenging questions.

Do you have a link to where she explicitly said anything about everyday Iowans?

So, for the non Democratic party voters here, who is your go to guy? Rand Paul? Ted Cruz? Rick Santorum?
Seriously, who do you guys have to offer up that is a viable candidate that will make it? Everyone is a carbon copy of each other, save for Randy, and he really, honestly, has no chance.

Where have you been?! This whole thing was because of reality vs. her press release:
Hillary Clinton Campaign's Press Release said:
On First Trip, Hillary to have Conversations with Everyday Iowans

Hillary Clinton will make her first trip to Iowa on Tuesday, April 14, and Wednesday, April 15. It will be the first of many conversations with Iowans about how to make the economy work so everyday Americans and their families can actually get ahead and stay ahead. Thoughout her life, Hillary has been a tenacious fighter for children, families and middle class American families.
What do you think prompted this "framing site" to go in the first place?

Now she's been called out for inventing immigrant grandparents. I can see how she appeals to the left. We're in our second term of a pathological liar and they're looking to put another one in the White House.

I guess she figures she can't get away with saying she was born a poor black child. Of course it ain't over yet.

Damn, you got her on such an incredibly substantive issue.

And again, which of the candidates you favor DOESN'T manage there events to pack them with cheering friends and look out for those likely to cause trouble? So, which of your candidates has an open door policy?

Let's say, for argument sake, you have a thing for Santorum and he get's into the race ... if he had an open door policy you can bet the dems and other repubs would pack the audience with trouble makers. This is how the game is played and how it's been played since the beginning of time.

There were countless similar stories about past Bush, McCain and Romney campaign events where bouncer types physically removed folks they recognized as opposition supporters.

When you guys get worked up over these fake "news" stories it's because you love to engage in these political circle jerks. You must have to change your clothes pretty often!

Welcome to politics. Truth is usually the first casualty. You think Hillary is unique in some regard?

...and if they had the nerve to lie about who they were speaking with I'd be upset with them too. This isn't about being selective, it's about lying (implying in no uncertain terms that you weren't when you were).

as an independent, as unusual the president race has nobody who looks good for either party. one thing for sure i will never vote for hildabeast, i hope the dems come up with somebody else. are the dems even going to have a convention because it sounds like hildabeast is the only democrat candidate.

Yeah, ok!

This is theatre and all the candidates from both parties do these rubber chicken events to pretend they're one of us. They often don local attire and act like they're one of them.

Bottom line is that they have there picture taken with the locals in all the four corners of the state. And then they move on to New Hampshire and repeat.

Again, there is absolutely nothing new about this and when the right gets there panties in a wad over made up shit it is as I said, a circle jerk. Both sides do this but the right is easily 10X as bad as the left. In truth it's probably more like 100X as bad.

It would only be 'corruptly' if they were doing so to get an unlawful or fraudulent benefit, and that's not the case here regardless of the system.

In order to show that it is corrupt you will need to show one of these things:

1. A statute that says it is unlawful to pay for medication by yourself.
2. That it would be unlawful for the patient to receive that medication otherwise.
3. That fraud was being committed by the patient somehow.

If you can't, it's not bribery or corruption. Full stop.
Can you back that up?

You need to ask werepossum for that info. He isn't sharing with us.
Dude, that was almost twenty years ago. I remember the conversation; I certainly don't remember who started it.

Why do you hate black duck people? ;)

That was their title to their press release.

Once again: it's not the cherry picking that bothers me, it's lying about it.
