That's an impressive quote you can up with except for the author's name is spelled wrong. That's sarcasm BTW, it's not impressive. (I sometimes forget I have to really spell it out for progs.)

Of course you don't like the author. Of course your moronic quote is dripping with proggie bias and derision. Do you really think I expect you to embrace a book that disses your precious? Doh!

You should research the author. Your congress critters can no longer benefit from stock trading based on pending legislation due to his efforts.
Given Schweizer's long history of errors and retractions, I have to ask, are you Schweizer?

Unfortunately when you tell posters like the one you are responding to, "fair enough", you give them a false feeling of being correct. What that poster just posted was total bullshit. Literally everything he stated was false.

Stupid idiots like that poster need to be called out and shamed back into the hole from which they crawled out of.

Exactly what fruit were you hoping for?
1) Less tensions with Russia
2) Stability in Northern Africa
3) Stability within the Middle East
4) Reduction in the illegal immigration from the Americas
5) China actions in the South Pacific

I will give him credit for not making NK worse and reduction of tension with Cuba

Neutral on Pakistan/India issues as well as not making Afghanistan any worse

Peace in the Middle East? Did Obama win Miss America or something?

Start forgetting about wanting any expectations about peace with the Russians. You will want all the Americans and Europeans to not give in to them because anything else is going to be far worse in the long run.

As for the Islamic World you are going to have to roll with the punches there and start accepting that you might not be able to control the whole fucking area.

We do need to be very tact, keen, and sensible when it comes to dealing with the Chinese.

Written by the editor @ Breitbart ! Yep that'll be a "non-biased" book...

Bias warrants extra scrutiny when evaluating the book. It does not justify disregarding the book as untrue without reading it. Especially when the topic is something for which it would be extremely difficult to find an unbiased author with enough interest in the subject to write about it.

You wanted a pony, too, I suppose.

The Bush Admin went out of their way to snub their noses at Russia & Obama was dumb enough to play the same game in Ukraine that they played in Georgia.

Everybody & their dog wanted Khaddafi gone. The other events in N Africa were beyond our control.

The Bush Admin destabilized the Middle East w/ the invasion of Iraq. It's not like that'll be going away any time RSN.

If you think the top down looting spree of financialized international capitalism (known here as the ownership society) hit this country hard, it hit our southern neighbors a lot harder so of course there's greater immigration pressures on us.

Do we have some legitimate claim in the S Pacific or are we just trying to rule the world? It's not like China's competitors in the region have the same clout as the Israelis with Congress, ya know? Or as the Chinese, for that matter.

Of course you'll embrace it, righties can't wait to get behind anything that backs their beliefs...

As long as the republican candidates only have Hillary to attack, and offering noting else but attacking Hillary, I'd say they too have come to the conclusion she will win.
So this is their chance to get in all the jabs they can, toss a few temper tantrums, and basically act exactly as they have been the last Obama years.
Which explains why the congress and soon their candidates have the lowest poll ratings ever since, well, ever since.

I mean really, name one single positive suggestion or solution republicans have offered?
Nothing on healthcare, except to repeal it, and even that line has become a little old.
Economy? Well other than giving the rich more tax breaks, which means more trickle down economics, they have noting to offer.
Certainly no plans for raising the minimum wage.
And as for foreign policy, just more talk and blowing smoke out there ass.
So I guess no plan on that front either?
Illegals? We all know that never will thousands/millions of illegals deport themselves.
Which again, seems to be their only belief as the solution.

The only two objectives is to first demonize Hillary, and second cry about how the white people religion freedoms are under attack.

Even if one of the many should come out ahead, what would that candidate have to offer?
A return back to the 1950's on social issues, and a return back to GW 2008 on the economic issues.
Oh boy! I bet the public will be itching to hear about that.

Bush doesn't have a chance.
Scott Walker? The only reason the Koch brothers are in love with Walker is what he did as governor to kill unions. The Koch guys have hopes of Walker taking that nation wide.
Rubio? Naw. He's wasting his time, and ours. JFK was a young hopeful once too. But JFK had some smarts, humor, likability, charisma, royalty, a vision, everything Rubio doesn't have.
Rand Paul? Randy still believes we will be invaded by flying saucers.
Christie is too fat. And he has a chip on his shoulders. Probably chocolate chip.
And then we have Cruz, where maybe he might have a chance, if this were 1933 Germany.
Well.... I guess its all up to Donald Trump.

So, tell me again how Hillary doesn't have a chance? ;)

Because she is a proven liar.
Because she is as crooked as you can get.
Because in all her years of "service", she doesn't have one real accomplishment but many failures.
Because she is a proven liar.
Because she used her "service" for personal gain.
Because she claims to be the person for "the common man" while being so out of touch with reality that she locked the common man in his college classrooms like some assassin to avoid having to interact with them.
Because she is a proven liar.

I love how you've really attached yourself to the fact that she is a liar. Let me know when you find a candidate that isn't a liar.

Yeah those goals should be simple to solve, I mean the middle east has been in flames for 4000 years straight so fixing that should be a piece of cake.

How to play the flute: blow in one end and move your fingers over the holes -- simple!

Only a hack such as yourself would think that the jobs aren't there.

I await your reply where you move the goal posts to change what he meant to say.

You aren't smart enough to evaluate the OP's claim nor are you smart enough to research what you read. That's why you frequent websites that tell you what to think instead of giving you the facts and allowing you to do your own thinking;)

Nice job of deflecting and attacking.

You stated the jobs are there. I stated there are damn near 100 million people not working.

Please tell me which of us is wrong.

Those two statistics are not mutually exclusive and a number without a proportion of the population is also not useful.
