Please go to this thread at Ars and see if you can perform the ghosting test that one member there developed. If you can, it'll be great if you can post your results there in that thread.

Hi,
Sounds like a great monitor. I'm either going to get this one or the Dell 1900fp (samsung 191t). Can anyone tell me why I shouldn't get the dell for just $35 more? I'm not really a gamer. I'm mostly concerned with 2d and text in windows and other apps.
Thanks

If you're not a gamer I would certainly go for a 19" over a 17" for similar $$. In fact even if you are a gamer I would give it serious thought unless gaming is all you do. For apps, you just can't beat real estate and a 19" LCD is a joy to behold. All you have to do is read the gamerPC review to see that even a middle of the road current production LCD is quite acceptable for anything short of katy-bar-the-door gaming.

I downloaded the .AVI file and will bring the digital camera from work tomorrow to catch a few "on the fly" photos. I don't have a digital camera at home....the Olympus at work should be fine though...as I've taken photos of 4,000 RPM fans spinning and you could see the dust on each blade with no blur! 🙂
Will update later this weekend....but I will say this....I hate going over to my other monitors after using this one already! 🙂

Engineer,
Wow, that's a little surprising to me. Just to make sure, your shutter speed was at 1/250 sec right? If not, your exposure may be too long and the results may not be accurate.
