Most things in our society are sized and built for the 95th percentile person. Unfortunately, when it comes to height ... we're outside looking in.

It's not too bad if you're fortunately proportioned. I have a 36" inseam and 36" sleeve; with a 36" waist I'm not difficult to fit. I can also fit well enough into most automobiles.
Aircraft are another matter. It's hard for me to get my feet on the rudder pedals at the proper angle to use the brakes, and with my feet on the pedals it hard to keep my knees out of the yoke.
