Since this thread has been moved from OT, I'll add some commentary:

The point of this thread is twofold:
1) Hoplophobes - The same logic you use to try to get guns banned has been used and will be used again to try to get video games censored.
2) Hoplophiles - The same organization you idolize because you think they are protecting your right to bear arms is the same organization that would happily lobby to take away your right to play video games if it meant one more firearm sale.

If there was an armed officer at any of the school shootings, they would have ended much sooner. Metal detectors only work at schools that have them. Next, you're going to tell us that airport security hasn't increased since 9/11.

An armed officer will be a lot more effective than limiting magazine capacity to 10 rounds.

Schools already have money issues and hiring some dropout for minimal wage is not what anyone would want in a school.
