So wait... there are more stringent regulation over what goes into ANIMAL FEED over than what goes into my beer?

If it's safe enough for human consumption wouldn't it be safe enough for animal consumption?

I mean seriously, do you really mean authority must not be questioned?

Uhm,... I don't see anyone questioning authority on these forums.

It's purely bashing. And, any comment with a "?" at the end, are pure mockery (bashing as well).

Some of you guys have a hate-on for authority, unless it has INC., LLP or some other corporate tail to it's name.

And in regards to assumptions,.. just look at the replies in cop bashing threads; most are sweeping comments about how all cops are bad. So, again, maybe you should direct the reservations on making broad strokes towards someone else.

You don't understand what authority is. Like. At all.

I mean it's hard to even try and respond to you when you are so incredibly butt-hurt over cop threads and can't differentiate between government and companies.

Yeah!

Damn US Government needs to know what to stick it's nose in; women's vaginas, gay people's bed rooms and corporate welfare!!

Leave our beer, guns and fertilizer plants alone!!

That was a pretty weak attempt at trolling.

I'm surprised you were able to snag as many as you did...

Some people want to swing a battle axe at big government for getting involved in what we consume,... some just want to live like any normal human being out there.

Go figure, our priorities don't sync,..

Yes I am sure that feed sellers are very happy that beer makers have a way to sell feed for less than they can. You do realize that chances are this started when feed makers/sellers complained.

If you ran a business but had to meet certain guidelines that added cost you be ok with a competitor not having to meet them and under cutting you right?

Crazy idea to use grains not going to cattle as ingredients in foods for humans. I will never understand the brain of a liberal... on one hand they constantly cry about the environment... now people like you are glad the FDA wants to force brewers to throw away something that can be reused.

Instead of the government trying to fix a problem that doesn't exist.... why don't they remove ethanol subsidies and make more (and cheaper) corn available to cattle farmers?

Do you really believe the beer companies are a major source of feed for cattle? I'd guess they provide a small% of overall feed sales. So the FDA in this case isn't really about protecting food supply or safety. They are pushing this for the profits of corporations. Sounds wonderful.
So the major feed suppliers make more money while this source of feed gets dumped in a landfill.

The way our agriculture system is set up right now, you have to support the farmers either way. Ever since the New Deal inserted itself into agriculture with farm bills, farm subsidies have become a condition of the agriculture sector to run properly. So by providing a tax break to gasoline companies for including ethanol, it raises the price of corn, lowering the amount they need to put in the farm bills as a direct subsidy.

Now how do we get out of New Deal era spending? Answer is who the fuck knows. Stuff like that is impossible to undo because it creates a crutch to the economy.

If that were the case then the whole deal by the OP is BS. As throwing away a small amount would not affect the price of beer.

"So more government regulations are going to make your beer more expensive."

If enough is being thrown away to affect the price of beer/Corp profits then they should be held to the same standards as others that sell feed. If not then it creates a loophole that others could come in and cut other business's that follow the rules off at the knees.

Oh, none.

You see, you are complaining about too many gay threads. But, have no issues with the many cop threads.

So, it has nothing to do with quantity,.. it's the content.

What do you have against women and gays??

reported for thread crapping rampage.

All regulation is started by a small marginalized group. That is the essence of majority rule democracy. A small marginalized group complains, the politicians bend their ear, figure out how they can make a buck on it, and tell the people it is for the good of the general public.

nah, most of it is started by large interests that only want to be further entrenched.

Same standard as others for what? Has feeding the spent grain to livestock been a detriment?

yep

grain will make a mess of the digestive systems of a cow

they are supposed to eat grass with the amount of grains that usually come with those
