Why is the smartest guy (Mohinder) the only one who can't get a clue as to what is going on? I mean, this guy is supposedly the pre-emminent (sp?) abnormal geneticist around but he is so oblivious to the shinola Bob is feeding him. I mean...sheesh...smartest guy can't buy a freakin' clue and he's the reason our resident "Jack Bauer" is now dead... :(

Hmm...Makes you wonder just how much of that was planned by Bob. After all, he had access to the paintings and maybe this was concocted as a way to get Claire's blood AND Bennet back on the team.

edit: of course all of this begs the question...How long after someone's death can you bring someone back to life? Because there is no doubt that Bennet died instantly.

He only got enough blood for one drip, it seems, so I imagine he planned it out. And so far the paintings have always come true, and no level of interference has been able to change them. We must assume that Bob knows this and knew what would happen.

so is this plot line completely ending in a few episodes because of the strike or are they going on "break" for a while

after heroes season 2, there'll be heroes: spinoff which would premiere in spring, i think.

Origins has been shelved.

Season 2 ends soon. It's not a full season.

I remember reading that the season was planned to be broken up into 2 arcs so there are two more episodes in this arc. Not a function of writers strike, though I don't know if they will delay the beginning of the second arc, or even if they have any of the second arc already filmed.
Very thankful they did get in the last two epi's of this arc. Imagine waiting up til next fall for the ending!

There was going to be more continuation between the arcs. The final episode was modified as a result of the writers' strike to conclude this season.

Hmm. Does that mean there is no chance for the rest of season?

Ok, I found this on Heroes Wiki:

Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers' strike.

Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

In related news, the reality of this whole thing is only now hitting me. And I'm not happy.
