Interesting...it's like some weird movie...guy has powers, guy explodes, guy's identity goes up in the explosion, guy gets manipulated by small-time baddies with light-Irish accents.

Makes sense.

And again, someone tell me what the commercial was to win the Rogue?

STOP TALKING ABOUT NISSAN.

Damn it. Since the show started at 9 PM, about 80% f the posts have been about Nissan. STOP IT!!!!!

I came here hoping to gain some insight or learn of some subtleties that I missed. What a mistake.

So, new superpowers:
metallurgist
brother/sister duo where sister can kill people .... somehow ....
And the flying boy ... possible spoiler: How does he know Claire has powers? (it was implied and in the preview for next week)

I don't understand where this is all going. Its 24 episodes though, what could I really have expected though.

I was thinking that maybe he was Claire's REAL brother (being that Nathan can fly)... well that was until I saw them kissing.

Hey, they did it in Star Wars. 🙂

I do have to wonder if the Petrelli's actually bit it though? What if the blast was Peter finally controlling the power at the last second and letting it go in a burst of energy? Maybe we'll see one or both of them again?

Thank you very much. I'll be signing autographs in the lobby.

Apparently she sucks the life out of people through their eyes. It seems they are a pair though and somehow the brother moderates his sister's power.

I'm thinking he's with the Company. He's got an evil vibe about him.

Not terribly exciting tonight but the part about Hiro's hero being a drunk English guy was pretty amusing.

Ok...I did not read through the thread but I have a theory about Peter.

When Peter exploded he created 3 parts of himself.
1. The first one took on Nathan's Identity and is the Evil Nathan in the future. The original one is dead. Killed in the explosion. A part of Peter wanted Nathan to live so he does.
2. Claire's Peter. Time traveled back and grew up in CA and subconsciously knows her.
3. Peter in the Box. Adult Peter that will face the Evil Nathan and will have a scar on his face.

Very good theory.

An alternate one:

1) Nathan is still the original Nathan but was injured in the blast and Peter fixed him. (Might explain his vision in the mirror at the bar?)
2) Claire's flying boy is the real Peter.
3) The Peter in the box (that just doesn't sound right 😛 ) is actually Sylar.

Uhh, did you miss the whole part where evil Nathan was actually Sylar?

That was a reality contingent on the blast destroying the city, which didn't end up happening.

Edited for clarity of meaning

Could've been a double feint. It could've been Peter pretending to be Sylar pretending to be Nathan.

I know humor is a rare commodity in P&N but it's a necessary component for OT. If you're not in possession of it you might want to click the Back button.

Thank you.

WTF. Am I the only one that just saw THREE Nissan Rogue commercials in a row? All the exact same one

Could be that you could complain about the three in a row OR you could be thankful that they paid for those commercials so that you could have less commercials overall.

I thought this episode kinda sucked, not much really happened. I bet Maya is going to be the new Nikki but I hope not. The last few minutes were awesome though.

BTW I never read those comments about people arguing about the big fight at the end of Season 1. I never knew there were people that were ok with the ending and I thought I was alone. I always thought that it's because a good chunk of the people who switched to Heroes were 24 fans after 24 just went down the drain with Season 6. I figured they wanted some Season 6 Episode 17 (the one where Jack kills Fayed) action where you can't stop yelling KICKASS.

Anyways, too bad I caught the episode on a little too late tonight because apparently I started cooking dinner without realizing it was past 9. I'll have to watch it over. BTW, was the episode any longer than usual? The usual length is 43 minutes right? Can someone who downloaded this confirm that it's actually longer than 43 minutes?
