The illusion was probably her making him think that he knocked her out. That whole place he is in is an illusion.

Why would she let herself turn back into her large self then? Sylar had no idea what she really looked like, so wouldn't she have just kept it? Well, she can't if she's dead :Q!

Also, who knows why she was even recast? It could've been the other actress going to Reapers as a full-time thing, but hell... maybe the other actress went to Reapers, because she was going to be killed off... so Reapers was a more stable show that she wouldn't die on 😛.

I'm not sure moving to any show on The CW is more stable 😛

Hah, that's true. It's a bit off-topic, but I don't see Reapers surviving after this season. But hell, maybe 13+ episodes for Reapers is a bigger paycheck than 1 episode of Heroes (if she really is dead). It's all about the Benjamins.

The hardest thing for me and Heroes is how it's so much like a comic book. I don't read American comics often, but I tend to read Japanese comics (manga) quite often. Similar to them, Heroes tends to split away from characters often to the point where you only get a tiny bit of progression per character. The thing about the first season is that we only had a couple of heroes at first and they started branching out, but now we've started with a bunch and we have to see them all. Not saying I don't enjoy watching it, but I need more 🙁.

Good points on both statements.

WE don't even know if that is what she really looks like. All we know is that she mentioned what she COULD really look like when she was talking with Mica.

Another reason why I think its all an illusion is becasue when he was trying to move the coffee cup, he couldn't. She said it was because he was still healing, but I think it is becasue the coffee cub was never really there.

That makes sense.

Semi off topic, but I really hate the two new Latino characters. Their story is just so damn boring.

I can't see how some of you watching this show can be so clueless on some of the events/characters.

The fat girl that Sylar killed is Candance, she is the same character as the brunette in the last season. Also the monster or whatever that pulled Sylar into the sewers.

She has stated on the show a few times that she's not so beautiful in reality.

It also could be all a red herring and sylar is still in control of someone else or just dreaming.

Peter and the box thing though was a bit overplayed knowing they were not going to show us what's inside it.

Yeah, I thought the dead fatty might be a red herring. She must be a real dumbass if she didn't think sylar was going to just waste her the first chance he got...and she didn't seem like a dumbass last season. Sylar may well still have all his powers, but he's trapped in a fantasy land.

I figure it was all real. She was talking on the phone when he was asleep. She said his powers didn't work because of his injuries. I'll take that at face value. He is left on a remote location so he can't do anyone else harm. I guess her Season One knocked out as thin and Season Two death as fat is just continuity error.

Ok, that was the lamest flight scene I've ever seen. Almost as bad as the "magic carpet ride" ones you see at some amusement parks or Vegas casinos.

Sadly if half the forum gained the power of flight around Claire that flight would mirror their best efforts.

But when sylar briefly woke out of the illusion, he was in some sort of Lab in a chair, not the hut in the middle of the jungle like there was when he killed that girl.

Maybe they have a lab underground or something, but it looks to me that it is still an illusion.

I checked and the 2 scenes are in the same room. Anyway what would be the point of having an illusion inside another illusion? Answering the phone while he was asleep strongly suggests that she is real. If she's not really there why would the phantom Hero need to take a call while Sylar is asleep? Her plumping out when killed is consistent with her Season 1 knock out when she lost the image she was casting and transformed into presumably her real self (unconscious and unable to hold a fake image).

Watching it now! I had to pack for my NYC last week so I didn't get to post at all.

I said last season that Candace was really a fat black woman in real life...I wasn't too far out. As for Flying Boy's flight...I thought they were going to have him raise a fist to the sky, a la Superman...almost had me spitting my drink out.

Anyway, back to the show.

So what's the deal with the symbol?

(-
=)

So far, the occurrences I've found:

Takezo Kensei's sword and his banner
Peter's necklace
The Haitian's necklace
The pictures (Mrs. Petrelli/Kaito)
Peter's tattoo as it disappears
Molly's dreams
Isaac's paintings
Jessica's back
Mr. Petrell's logo for his law firm
On Chandra Suresh's book

I'm sure there are more.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's the companies symbol, and that Takezo is immortal and founded the company.

I'm also going to say that the company recovered Peter, did something to him/with him, then the Haitian wiped his memory and gave him a necklace as a clue (to help him). Or maybe it's a sort of brand as the companies property.

I bet this dude stole Claire's car.

Yeah, we knew that last week 😉

I'm starting to get tired of not knowing Mrs. Petrelli's ability...better come out soon.

Pretty sure she doesn't have any. 😵

EDIT: However, if she's part of the 12, it's likely she does...
