Haha, then I guess you're ok with:

D’Souza was indicted on charges that he illegally used straw donors to contribute to a Republican Senate candidate in New York in 2012. He was sentenced to five years of probation, including eight months living under supervision in a “community confinement center” in San Diego, and a $30,000 fine.

Of course, turn it into a race thing, says the Conservative sock puppet, completely tongue-in-almost-cheek, to divert away from what's going on.

You aren't actually arguing that Trump isn't a racist piece of shit are you? I think if there's one thing this entire board should be able to agree on it's that Trump is a huge racist.

Dinesh, the birther who used to out gay classmates when he was in school a la Laura Ingram, getting a pardon from the bigoted birther in chief? Yeah that follows.

Dinesh breaks the law, gets cushy non-prison setting and Dump acts like he was sent to The Farm for chain gang duty. Poor, poor persecuted snowflakes.

I believe he was convicted in Jan 2014. 5 years is up in about 6 months, the 8 months in San Diego is probably already done and he has likely already paid the $30000. Sounds like a pretty empty pardon. The guy has no problems making money with selling books and such....

As a malignant narcissist he probably hates basically everyone but he really does appear to have a special hatred for brown people. This is the guy who said he didn't want black people handling his money because they were lazy, after all.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ally-say-those-things/?utm_term=.ad7a73a5a244

Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino President John R. O’Donnell, in the 1991 book “Trumped,” claimed that Trump once said that “laziness is a trait in blacks.” Here is the full context for the statement, as described in the book. O’Donnell relates a conversation with Trump about a finance employee, who happens to be black and who O’Donnell believes has shortcomings.

Instantly, Donald was enthused. “Yeah, I never liked the guy. I don’t think he knows what the f––– he’s doing. My accountants up in New York are always complaining about him. He’s not responsive. And isn’t it funny, I’ve got black accountants at the Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. No one else.”

I couldn’t believe I was hearing this. But Donald went on, “Besides that, I’ve got to tell you something else. I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not something they can control. … Don’t you agree?”

So this is clearly a secondhand quote, made in a private conversation and written some years after the fact. Trump called O’Donnell a disgruntled employee, but he initially did not dispute the remarks. “The stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true,” he told Playboy in an interview published in May 1997.

I'll go with he "probably" did say that or something like it.

So you're agreeing with me that he's a racist? From your own link:

I couldn’t believe I was hearing this But Donald went on, “Besides that, I’ve got to tell you something else. I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control…. Don’t you agree?”

Although Trump didn’t deny any of O’Donnell’s specific allegations in a subsequent (1997) Playboy magazine interview — “The stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true,”

So again, you do agree that Trump is a giant racist, right? Even if you ignore that quote there's mountains of other evidence of his extreme, lifelong racism.

Can you explain how you think this relates to the topic at hand? I can think of no rational way it does so it appears the term is being misused or misunderstood.

If it's related to the snopes article we have a report of a statement by Trump that broadly aligns with his actions and other statements throughout his entire adult life, confirmed by Trump himself in a public interview. That he denied it later is hardly exculpatory considering how damaging such a statement would be. I mean it's not like when someone publicly admits something we pretend they never did if they later take it back.

Regardless, can you answer a simple question? Do you agree or do you not agree that Donald Trump is a racist?

Trump has no problems with persons of color as long as they're shining his shoes.

Trump has always had strong opinions that mirrored his fathers.
His father was a racist POS.

None of this is new or surprising to any New Yorker.

Trump's mental decline since the early to mid 2000's should come as no surprise to anyone who has been around "Trump's type".

Not only all of the above, but he actually plead guilty to the charges. He wasn't an innocent man wrongfully convicted who served 20 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit, just a white collar crook who committed a crime and admitted to it , paid some fines and spent no time in jail. Isn't it great we have Trump around to right the wrongs of the justice system.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

He also said everyone coming from Haiti had AIDS and that Nigerian immigrants would never 'go back to their huts' if they came here. It's baffling that anyone would even attempt to argue that Trump's not a racist.

I guess allegiance to the tribe is more important than reality sometimes.
