OK heres the deal.
I have a TDK VeloCD 8/4/32, which will supposedly rip audio at 20x. I also have a SB Audigy MP3+ which supposedly will encode mp3's in real-time at 9x.
Now, Ive tried using MusicMatch, and Ive tried using Creative MediaSource. MediaSource adds the songs on a cd into queue, but just sits there and does nothing.
MusicMatch creates MP3 files, but only at 1x, and they are just silence for the time duration of the track. Im guessing that its switching to the wrong input to record from. Ive tried changing the input in the Audigy Mixer settings, but MM just switches back to the incorrect one.
Is there any way to make this simpler to do, AND take advantage of the hardware I have?
Id really appreciate any help you guys can offer me here..
By the way, im using modified Audigy 2 drivers on my A1. I believe they were the first set released for A2. I forgot how to mod them, in order to update them to newer A2 drivers so...
