help get this cat murderer in jail for life!

If he had just up and killed the cat, fine. But he put it in a grill and let it burn while laughing. There's a difference between killing something and torturing it.

right. but it is STILL only a CAT.

5 years and a $5k fine sounds good.

This petition is useless. You should be petitioning your local lawmakers, not petitioning for this guy to get more time. The laws need to be changed, he can only be charged under the current laws.

*comes out of left field*

This is where we NEED to institute a "different brand of justice."

While I agree that animals are not humans and are property...
I also agree that animal cruelty is wrong...

So, there are no sentences or laws to lock this guy up, huh? Set his ass on fire. Douse him in gasoline and toss him a lit book of matches.

If he survives (manages to put out the flames by himslef, unassisted) then give him proper medical care.

The pain of a healing burn victim is indescribable. I knew a guy that was a superintendent of an apartment building. The boiler exploded while he was trying to start it, covering him in burning fuel oil. The only thing that didn't get third degree burns was his face b/c he covered it w/his arms.

I visited him in the hospital and saw his pain.

I say light this fcker on fire. The hell w/wasting my tax dollars bringing him to trial!!! It was just a cat....but he needs to be taught a lesson.

So what should we do with him?

Disclaimer: I love cats, I have 5 in my house (not mine, they're my roommates'). I would never hurt one, & I think the people that do are sick fvcks. That being said...

If Mike Tyson only got 3 years for raping a woman, the torture of a cat should warrant a few days at best.

In the grand scheme of things cat killing is pretty unimportant.

Let's deal with some important issues before we start petitioning for life imprisonment over a kitten.

90 days in jail and $500 fine.

goog point, the dude that created this thread, red squirrel didn't use the word "torture" in the thread topic

although i still question using a term like "torture" , which is most often associated with extreme cruelty to humans , when talking about cooking a live cat. i don't guess he ate the cat

sounds like a pretty screwed up idiot

You guys read any of the petition signatures? This stuff is rich:

This is murder. Whether it's a kitten or a human. It's murder, and it's torture. At the least this person should be put in jail until his death. Execution would be ideal, but let him suffer a long jail life instead. After that he can suffer in hell just like the cat did, but for eternity. I thank the people who caught him! - Ryan Auclair

The way I look at it is that a cat is alive just like we are, and feels pain just like we do.

I also forgot to put torture, as it's different than if he would of just shot it (which I still think would deseve such penalty).

But one thing, I never realized this was higher than human torture/murder like mentioned (rape etc).

I say they should upp that as well. At least have them both equal. But any type of torture/murder should be life in jail.

I do like the light him on fire part. They could poor boiling oil on him, then light it on fire, once it's all burt, toss him in liquid nitrogen and repeat process 10 times. (he should die before that though). But before, he should do at least 25 years in jail, then the torture.

Not but I believe I probably could be if I really wanted to. Killing for food is different than killing for "fun". Killing for food is simply part of nature and the food chain. Though I heard pretty nasty things about slaughterhouses and stuff, but it's still killing for food. Animals kill other animals for food, we are technically animals, and we are on top of the food chain, so we kill for food too.

But you won't see a lion killing a deer just to make it suffer, but rather to eat it.

Wow. I agree w/what you said 100%. I rarely do that, especially here! Killing for food and for pleasure are two completely and totally different things!
