I was at the gym and apparently was on a machine that this black dude wanted. He was visibly agitated and asked me when I'd be done - I told him I had two more sets and he called me "honkey-tonk pale face". I started laughing because it was really funny to hear someone say that and I figured he was just playing. He wasn't playing.
Not many I know who enjoy her music. THe only reason why i know who she is because i used to be a manager at The Wall in college. Other than that, who?????????

My dad can tolerate them too. But he's more of an R&B guy and he listens to Tom Joyner every morning (as does my mom). Both my mom and my dad have gotten to the point where they can recognize most of the artists that I listen to.my parents does'nt like the fact that i date non-chinese girls. Though once they were happy when I was seeing a korean girl.. even though she wasnt chinese.. she was asian!!! to bad that relationship flew by in like a month.

I remember seeing Brandon post a list of music that he like and other than some jazz and R&B, most of it was more mainstream whitish kind of music. That being said McLaughlin and Mayer might have some pipes, but so do alley cat's wailing at 2 o'clock in the morning, which I find slightly more tolerable.

I'm a white dude and I dated a Korean woman for a while before I met my wife (Italian...well, really just American). Anyway, while I was dating her I remember getting looks of disgust occasionally from older rich white women especially on the west side of Los Angeles. We used to get the same looks from Koreans also. Go figure.
