The thread title of Cheney going recently going rouge and Senile is wrong.

Cheney has been going rouge as an an enemy of American democracy dating back to the 1970's. In terms of going senile, sadly not yet. Senility could only improve the Dick Cheney brain waste swill.

Some people improve America with their life and deeds, Dick Cheney can only improve America with his death. But better yet, we could send him to the Hague for the international war crimes he committed, let him go senile in prison.

Is "rouge" in reference to going red or, did you mean rogue? Literal Lieutenant reporting for duty.

"Project weakness"- like W did when he agreed to a withdrawal timetable for Iraq? A prognostication from "I never said that" Dick Cheney, a pathological liar?

Shee-it, Sherlock, he didn't even have any credibility left with his boss when they exited office... He's not senile, just evil... a man without a conscience.

If he has all the answers then why didn't he do something while he was in power besdies keeping the chair warm in an undisclosed location??

I wonder what his feeling are on draft dogers and deferments are these days?

Per the story you are referencing, I can say without a doubt that under Bush/Cheney the USA projected an image of power over the world that has been lost under Obama.

Now, not liking Cheney is another story....

Just because that's your interpretation doesn't make it so. Ther is a lot to be said for speaking softly while carrying a big stick.

I'm not so sure if he is truly evil or just a warped, defeated man who is in complete denial?

Yeh, the way they sent half the country scuttling for cover with waves of fearmongering in the wake of 9/11, or the way they projected power into New Orleans after Katrina..

Power over what, exactly? Afghan and Iraqi insurgents? N Korea? Iran? How about that Russian thumping of their Georgian buddies?

Or maybe it was the way they stood up to the Israelis over the whole "Roadmap to Peace"?

Have a little more Koolaid...

That's because you're a foolish partisan hack.

OP, if you are going to make an ignorant and typical Cheney bashing post, at least have a basic understanding of first grade English.

rouge

–noun
1. any of various red cosmetics for coloring the cheeks or lips.

rogue (as you poorly attempted to use in your title and failed spectacularly at)

–adjective
11. no longer obedient, belonging, or accepted and hence not controllable or answerable; deviating, renegade: a rogue cop; a rogue union local.

Aren't you the guy who was trying to argue statistics without understanding the definition of 'statistical significance'? Maybe you should leave the policing to someone else, or attend to that beam you've got in your eye before you start checking for motes.

Ah ha, but madly hating Cheney is not foolish partisan hackery, amirite?

Oh, the irony...back on the list you go!

No irony. It's best to check definitions beforehand..

Not foolish partisan hackery. Cheney is almost universally despised.

If you're making a list, you'd better check it twice.

LOL, I guess if you assume that my title wasn't an intentional play on words like the book written about Palin called "Going Rouge" then I must be an idiot and ridiculed relentlessly.

And in case you didn't notice 5 time draft deferment Cheney isthe one bashing the POTUS. All that would be fine if it weren't for the FACT that he had his chance to do thing right the FIRST time and fucked it (and the economy) up.

But go ahead and make fun of my spelling if it makes you feel better. We're all going through tough times and I understand how hard it can be.
