do you wear your boxers in a manner that makes them easily viewable by the general public?
Not really, no. However, I am still buying them as opposed to plain boxers which do not have anything on them.

Then, so long as you aren't flashing your boxers to small impressionable children or their parents, you should be in the clear.

No, I'd never take it so far as to hurt a kid's feelings... it was just that he had that look of genuine reflection on his face..
While I really couldn't have cared less what brand of clothing he wore, somehow I convinced, or came close to convincing him, that his clothing selection was stupid. Sort of like in Dogma when one of the angels convinces a nun that there isn't a God. (although, yes, I do have some clothing with brand names. I've got a nice green t-shirt that says AMD-64. Some company gave me that shirt so that I would advertise for them by wearing it. (I didn't pay for the shirt.) And, I've got a nice Yoo-Hoo t-shirt. Since that company sent me the shirt, I actually tried and liked their product. I now drink it regularly (about once a month) as well as wear their shirt (about once every other month.) I hope they're getting their advertising money out of the shirt. A&F? Gap? Aero? etc. Nope, I don't own any of those.

i own a lot of old navy shirts. i bought them and don't mind the advertising (since they're pretty awesome). it's odd that the kid didn't realize that he was doing free advertising for companies -- that's one of the oldest tricks in the book. :p

Mr. T says: "Everyone's gotta wear clothes, and if you don't you get arrested. Tape over the label and wear your name. This not only shows the world that Ralph Lauren doesn't own you, but that Ralph Lauren isn't at fault for you looking horrible.

Dr. Pizza sounds like the creepy old guys you see working at grocery stores. They can't wait to impart their retarded wisdom while you stand there and nod and look for ways to get the hell out of there..

Allow me to slap you in the face a little.

First off...you didnt "rock his world" or "open his eyes". You're an idiot if you really think that.

When did he 'try to convince his classmates to wear that'?

Does your car have the brand name on it? You mean to tell me you paid $20,000 to advertise for Honda?

You don't have to ridicule someone just because 'his type' makes fun of you.

However, this really was a win-win situation. You in no way hurt him, and it raised your pathetic self esteem a little. Good work!

"my name isn't aero."
"oh, but your shirt says aero."
"that's a company"
"Wow, you work for that company?"
"No"
"Oh, they pay you to advertise?"
"No."
"wait a second, don't tell me you're doing it for free."
"they're not paying me."
"Let me get this straight. You mean to tell me that you paid extra for that shirt, so that you could advertise for them? And, you're trying to convince your classmates that they need to buy those shirts or else you're better than them??"
"uhhhh"

What was most remarkable and amusing about this, rather than pointing out how stupid the whole designer clothing "fad" has been and always will be, is that the expression on the kids face was one of sudden realization that his world had just been turned upside down. :) I wish I had a picture of his face with that expression while he contemplated the whole discussion I had with him.

I'm sorry, but you're an idiot. The kid bought a shirt that he likes and you have to try to "enlighten" him with your great wisdom, right? Wow, you're soooo cool! Your anti-establishment, non-brand wearing, stance makes you sooooooo different. Girls must love your attitude! Go you!

People like you must be so pitiful and sorry that you have to knock others down to make yourself feel good about your crappy existence. And, quite possibly, the most ridiculous part is that you feel so great about what you did that you goto a message board to actually boast about your arrogant, childish, act.

You're actually lucky the kid took it so well; because I know in the future if you keep making such snide remarks, one day some guy is going give you one big b*tch slapping.

Maybe the kid likes to rotate his wardrobe instead of wearing the same white t-shirt with the occasional blue?

What the hell was the point of that anyways? Did you ever think that the look on his face was a WTF look?

You know, that's talking a lot of smack for someone behind the counter at a pizza shop. ;)
What would you have said if he told you to STFU and make his pizza? Not that I would ever do such a thing... :D

Yeah, it's silly to pay top-dollar for a shirt that proudly advertises a partocular company, but I have a few Old Navy, Aero, American Eagle and Gap shirts that have the brand name on them simply because I liked the shirts regardless of what was said on them.
