Wow, if I was that kid and you were this much of a dick to me I would order 5 large pizzas to go then walk out when they're halfway cooked. Then I would set the building on fire and take my traveler's cheques to a competing pizza place.

That is the appropriate response to such an action.

That blank stare on his face was him realizing that he wasn't going to get to buy pizza any time soon, which was really his only reason for talking to you.

I'd probably have the same look if you called me nike, eddie bauer, gap, or coach...

First off...you didnt "rock his world" or "open his eyes". You're an idiot if you really think that.

When did he 'try to convince his classmates to wear that'?

Does your car have the brand name on it? You mean to tell me you paid $20,000 to advertise for Honda?

You don't have to ridicule someone just because 'his type' makes fun of you.

However, this really was a win-win situation. You in no way hurt him, and it raised your pathetic self esteem a little. Good work!

Best. Reply. to this thread.

Agreed.

Dr. Pizza is a huge tool who probably has the slightest idea of what pvssy even smells like.

Why does it bother you so much what that guy does with his money? If it bothers you that much, then you have some serious issues.

What was most remarkable and amusing about this, rather than pointing out how stupid the whole designer clothing "fad" has been and always will be, is that the expression on the kids face was one of sudden realization that his world had just been turned upside down. :) I wish I had a picture of his face with that expression while he contemplated the whole discussion I had with him.

How eager was he to apply where you work and serve pizzas with you?

You are an idiot...

You ever were a shirt that has any logo on it? I'm sure that you have.

Nike maybe?

So STFU and DIAF.

I would have to imagine that the OP is the same person who goes around telling little kids that Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny are not real.

I think the kid was more scared of the probable stench coming off the OP and lack of hygiene than his verbal assault.

You know, that's talking a lot of smack for someone behind the counter at a pizza shop. ;)
What would you have said if he told you to STFU and make his pizza? Not that I would ever do such a thing... :D

$20 says that's *exactly* what the kid told him, which is why DrHippie felt the need to post here - to cover his utter and complete pwnage.

After delivering the scathing verbal pummeling to his unprepared target, DrPizza smiled, muttered, "owned" to himself and returned to duteously scraping hardened gum off the bottom of the booths in the pizza parlor.

The flames are obviously being dealt by the people who just realized that they are paying extra to advertise for a company. Ever actually stopped and asked yourself why you wear a shirt that says "Gap" on the front of it??

The only clothes I wear that have logos on them are bands.

Funny thing is, Aeropostale was the brand that all the kids who couldn't afford A&F bought to try and look cool or the same. So you were probably making fun of the best shirt the kid could afford. Congrats, meanie.

lmao, if someone said that, we'd just point to the door. There is no "pwnage" in the pizza shop. Most of the guys who work there have full time careers - banker, teacher, policeman, CAD draftsman, . . . We don't put up with crap.

incidentally, this "kid" I'm speaking of was all of 10 years old... he probably doesn't go out and buy his own clothes, and he's certainly not going to "kick the crap" out of me. :) I was simply giving him some mild harassment that youth occasionally have to bear from adults.

I think the bigger question there would be "why am I wearing some one else's clothes?" Aside from my pants, I think most of my clothes came from walmart.

Talk about being childish and immature. And this behavior is coming from a teacher to boot...

I have shirts that say Nike, Adidas, Aero, etc, and pretty much only because they're quality clothes for a decent price ($9-$14 a shirt). It's better than buying a Russels Athletic shirt (which I have a few) for $5, which are crappy quality and don't fit well at all. Or just a plain black, blue, or gray shirt with nothing on it.

Are you advertising for Apple computers cause your icon is an apple? Do you even own an apple computer? I mean your icon is an apple, why would you use that unless you used their computers. They paying you to advertise?

Umm.. no. The only visible label I'm sporting is the "Timex" name on my watch - and you'd have to look pretty damn close (or let me b1tch-slap you) to see it. In fact, every single thing I'm wearing today came from Wal-Mart/Sams.

  • No-visible-name tennis shoes - $14.88
    socks - 6 pair for 3.88
jeans - $11.98 (they actually say "Kirkland" on the back, but my shirt is untucked)
    White tagless Hanes T-shirt - 3/$5.97
    Polo-style shirt - $3.00 on clearance

So no, I definitely cannot be accused of buying and spending extra "for the label," but I still think the OP is a useless tool who should be flamed for being a complete and utter douche.

How does that fit in to your little scenario?

So instead of paying extra to shill for Gap, you pay extra to shill for bands. Huh... you must be just a superior as you sound.

I buy and wear whatever's comfortable and attractive IMO... some have logos, some don't. Who cares? Only assholes act like they're better than everyone for rejecting branded clothing.
