I finished watching all five episodes of Forward Unto Dawn - genuinely surprised at how good they are.

Anyone interested in the Halo story should watch them.
 
My Microsoft preorder is reporting out for delivery today, so I should have it after work. 🙂
 
Damn I really need to wait until Friday evening to start playing. In a SQL Admin training bootcamp. Must resist and focus...

I'll be picking it up at the local Best Buy today or tomorrow though. Maybe I'll reward myself with an hour or so in the evenings after studying...

I hated Halo 3 (the only one I played) but this looks amazing. I want to get it but I started Borderlands 2 late and I'm engrossed in that.

Gave my xbox to my son and finally got one after a few months without. Now I'm catching up.

Yeah MP is tough. Especially since some of the community like to rub in their win or kill. Thank god for mute options.

I ordered the whole halo 4 customized xbox w/game...supposed to be delivered today and hasn't even shipped. I must say this is the first time I've been disappointed with amazon.

Now I will have to buy the game afterwork and return the one amazon sends me.
 
picked it up today at lunch but not sure how much if at all i will play it tonight. i want to paint my basement wall and i also want to watch sons of anarchy so i'm not sure.
 
I'm growing old. The last Halo releases I would stay up with my friends and play all night. Well I played through the first portion last night and attempted to play MP and then went to bed. Man being 22 sucks.

it gets worse, im 31 and prob wont even play MP at all

I can take a bit, but when it's an obnoxious kid who screams ebonics over the mic it's time to just say no.

BTW: I'm 31 and might not touch the MP since it requires a Gold account and I cancelled my Gold account since I never turned on my xbox lol. Might see if some of the local gamestop guys get into it and maybe use the 14 day trial thing to check it out with someone I actually know. All of my other friends have PC or PS3. It's not about age for me...I played some BL2 the other weekend, 15 hour session.

Ditto. 38, wont play MP at all, its just not worth the hassle of listening to all the OMG, and roxxors, lulz, plus bad language. It was fun in the teens and early 20's, but meh, not anymore. Plus, my boys will be watching and playing with me, so I don't need them to hear that stuff.

I have no idea how I played Halo 2 -> Reach while using the mic. So many idiots. I've muted them since. Peaceful 😀

I bought Xbox Live Gold via ebay for $35. Trying to get my best friend who I've played all the Halo games with an xbox so he can play from his barracks. So if anyone has a broken xbox I can attempt to fix up, PM me.

If anyone wants my 14 day trial hit me up. (Someone with a decent amount of posts)
 
Just played through the intro section, badass. And Heroic is harder than I remember - or maybe it's just that I'm old. All you 20s and 30s youngins can stop whining now. 😀
 
First console game purchase for me in a while. Put in my pre-order Saturday night after finding out MS was giving a $25 GC for pre-ordering, Amex was paying $25 to beat the campaign and also giving $50 off $100 at Best Buy (more kindle cards!) for completing a a co-op mission. I tossed the Pulse skin DLC token on eBay which is up to $20 already. Wondering how much more I can milk out of this.
 
Alright so I got in a few games when I got home from work. I played a little CTF. I have to say, i was very disappointed that it was only 5 on 5 max. I seem to remember there being more people on the battlefield at one time. It felt kind of.... empty?
