We don't live in a police state. Cops have no authority to arbitrarily tell people not to walk around in public.

The dispatcher told him that they didn't need him to do that, he wasn't told not to do it. Furthermore, they have no authority to order a private citizen. The dispatcher isn't a police officer.

Finally, he had lost trayvon. Trayvon left his house to hunt down Zimmerman, according to jeantel (prosecutions witness). You lose.

This is what I am talking about. Idiots like you swallow media narrative and lies.

Like the link above. Any swastika painted has to be a white supremacist trump supporter. Dude is a black democrat. But the media won't report that widely.

It is not irresponsible for a private citizen to check things out in his neighborhood. I do it to out of town neighbor houses all of the time. They watch mine, I watch theirs. When it is snowy I go walk about and make sure it looks occupied. Walk around every few days and look for different footprints. This is important considering some neighbors leave for a month or two (trips home to india). And I live in a nice neighborhood. We have had a few breakins, so I help.

You bet your ass I'd check out people walking around my neighbors house at night. I have done it before.

Yes it was. The dispatcher said to not follow Martin. Martin was walking around on a public street in a neighborhood. Zimmerman had every right to follow him. It's contentious the extent to which Zimmerman actually did follow Martin, but even if Zimmerman had completely ignored the orders and followed Martin up to the point where Martin attacked him, it changes nothing. You don't get to assault people just because they're looking at you suspiciously.

To be honest, I never followed this killing much as it was to me an incident where an idiot with a gun had something to prove and a senseless killing was the end result.

From that point on, it was just noise to me.

edit - Oh and by the way, I believe I never ever insulted you or anyone else in this forum by accusing them of being "an idiot" so if you don't mind, please don't hang that derision on me again. I expressed an honest opinion, that's it, that's all.

It seems to me when you resort to insulting folks to make a point it weakens your whole argument and makes you appear to be precisely what you accuse the other person of. 😉

Did he do that? The testimony from Martin's girlfriend stated that Martin went home first, told her about some "creepy ass cracker" following him, then went back to ask why Zimmerman was following him.

Even if Zimmerman yelled out first, "Hey, boy, what do you think you're doing 'round this here neighborhood?", that doesn't justify the ~30 seconds of assault that occurred by Martin.
