That's one hell of a Big Mac or one sloppy worker at In-N-Out.I don't understand the In-N-Out love, it just tasted like a Big Mac when I had it. /shrug

I can only hope so, because the one near me is awful. If they are all that way then there is something wrong with all the people that like them.I'm gonna take a gamble and say that the negative reviews from 5guys is probably due to the fact that they are franchised and the quality is not as consistent as it should be, whereas InO does not franchise.
Or just different management / quality control. It's not that it just wasn't to my preferences, it was just the worst tasting burger I've ever had. There's gotta be something wrong with the one in Richmond, VA. If I'm ever near a different one I'll give it a shot, but I won't be going back to that one.Different strokes I guess.

Five Guys is good.. I just wished they cook the burgers other than 'well done'

five guys on the other hand uses the lowest of low grade beef, cooks the hell out of it and then soaks the overcooked piece of beef and the bun back in all the fat drippings so it's ultra greasy and absolutely disgusting.
I *LOVE* burgers, but what 5 guys sells is not fit for human consumption.
as much as I love my steaks medium rare, I really dont like the texture of ground beef if it isnt cooked through. I find it really, really unpleasantAgree. Any burger past medium is automatic fail.

/likes a greasy cheeseburger, preferably medium-well
here in NC burgers have to be fully cooked, by law. i dont order burgers at a decent place because they have to cook the shit out of it. getting a steak done properly is a lot easierIf I go to a nice restaurant, I'll always get my burgers medium.
Someone always has to do this, compare a tiny burger joint with one or two locations to a nationwide joint.
Anywho Five Guys isn't as good as everyone makes it out to be. In-N-Out fo life yo!!!!
Shake Shack > In/Out > Wendy's > Burger King > McDonalds > 5 guys
I've had 5 Guys in FL, VA (Reston, Falls Church, and DC), and NY. They suck.

Power, I agree on that.
The things that could help them a lot would be:
More than just American cheese.
GRILL your Jalapenos! Raw is harsh!
KEISER ROLLS!!!! Enough with the shoprite sesame seed specials!!!!
That's about it.
I DO love, however, that they are one of the chains that has MALT VINEGAR available for the fries. I tried that about 10 years ago while skiing in Canada and I have eaten them like that almost always ever since (Salt and Vinegar for FTW)
