Anyone using a 360 controller? How's gamespad support? Feel like you're at a disadvantage?
Yes and it's not a handicap at all
In fact I started playing on M&K and changed to pad. My win rates went up with using the pad
I get a lot of fulfillment in life other than video games and I'm happy when I level up and unlock something. I guess thats weird?
Glad to hear it - might go ahead and pick this up on PC
Meh, I'm just spitballingI do think there's an element of truth to it, though, I didn't mean to express it in a manner that excluded the possibility that one can't feel a sense of accomplishment from a videogame given the premise that they're rewarded elsewhere, as well.
There is a slick deal for this game on yuplay.ru you may want to check out. I got the game for 35 bucks. It's a global key too so the game is in English.
If you get it on pc add me I need people to play with.

Respawn said that they added a bit of aim assist for players using a controller on PC instead of mouse to compensate a bit. It helps to even out the game for those who choose that control method.
So... If a gamer enjoys the leveling/XP/Unlock aspect of a game, not only does he have a short attention span... But he also gets no fulfillment from real life personal relationships, work, etc.Me too, and I'm going to go a step further and build upon what he said and put a finer point on it: leveling up gives some gamers a false sense of achievement... even accomplishment. When such things are lacking in other aspects of one's life, perhaps this leads to a sense of fulfillment. But if you get that fulfillment from other things in life - personal relationships, physical fitness, work, etc - leveling up in a videgame holds virtually zero meaning.

You guys say these very insulting things... And then don't understand people's reactions. Unbelievable.

Yup. Doesn't pass the sniff test for me. I read this as code for why they're scrubs pulling up the rear in games.. nothing more.
Can't win at a new game, so blame Canada. Blame your wife/girlfriend, blame your job, blame your lack of physical activity, blame your lack of learning a 2nd language or reading books to keep your mind sharp.
Now I don't play MMOs but I win at my salary, wife, travel to 10+ countries around the world, speak 2 languages and I'm good at games new and old. It can be done. Steam achievements have nothing to do with anything, especially my attention span. Doesn't even make sense.
For sake of not hurting anyones feelings, since I like achievements, I'm a loner in my grandma's basement.![]()

This is legit? That site seems so shady...
I like the leveling aspect because it allows you to quickly judge the probable skill of opposing players. I know sometimes you run into a low-level player that is good and vice versa, but usually if someone has played long enough and well enough to significantly level up then you can assume they will be decent.
Yeah I thought so as well, but it worked for me. I was looking at some other games on there but those were RU codes only, so I think it's just luck that the titanfall version happens to be global.

You must be new to the COD series then. I've ran into quite a few multi-prestiged individuals with abysmal KDR; my GF being one of them. I just can't fathom how it is fun to have like a 0.3 KDR and have a ton of time put in a game.
Early on, yes it isn't a bad indicator, as the best will level up quicker. However, after a month or two, it is a crap shoot.
Worked for me too. It's global edition and I checked my bank statements too. No double charges or weird charges anywhere.
Well I tried...couldn't make it work. My credit cards were declined (probably because it is russia lol) and the FAQ says you can paypal, but I didnt see how to make that happen.![]()
Yea when I bought it paypal was available. They must have removed it. On slickdeals they menetioned setting up one of those pay accounts putting money in then using that to pay for it.
I'm glad when I bought it paypal was an option.
yeah, I emailed them. His response was short and to the point: They have the Russian game only, no global, and paypal is no longer an option for them.
I'm a thinkin they got in trouble somehow.
