If I could find one :D j/k

Seriously yeah I would. I tend to date girls that are at least able to keep up, otherwise I ditch them fast.

<< I'd happily date a woman smarter than me, as long as she only used her powers for good. With power comes responsibility and the need for humility. If she made it a habit of pointing out that she was smarter than me just to put me in my place, I'd kick her to the curb and point out that I'm better looking. >>

LOL BoberFett, I like that answer. :D As for me, like I said in the other thread, my husband married one. ;) But, he could also do things with his hands that I could never dream of doing, like woodworking. He has a lot of other talents, that more than made up the difference.

I said the same aloud by accident - and was just given a smack upside my head by my wife:Q:p

So I guess I'm not as smart as I think :p

...note to self - think before speaking. :D

I already do...sort of. We are very complementary in our intelligence. She is a very strong abstract and detailed thinker, while I'm more on the logic side and excel in pointing out the obvious.

She's more of a critical thinker while I'm more of the rapid fire sort firing off answers quickly. Both of us are quite intelligent in our own ways and both of us respect each other for the abilities that the other possesses.

Dude, I know AT's an addiction but posting during your wedding is a little extreme.

I've only met a few people in my life smarter than me and being that the few that were women were fugly....NO.

In case you were wondering...the "a few people smarter than me" part is a severe exaggeration.

<< Yes I would date a girl who is smarter than me. Actually, I already do . Smart is sexy ! Well, she thinks I'm smarter than her... Oh how I fear the day when she notices the truth.... ;)

>>

Nemesis77.. she may be right
>>

I don't think so... She is smart! I guess the reasin why she thinks I'm smarter is because I know more on things she doesn't know (computers). When she has computer-problems, and I help her out, she looks at me in awe. Too bad she knows more than me in just about everything else *cough*.

OK, well, I could live with that.
I doubt it would happen, it seems that in relationships I always see the dumb girls going with the dumb guys (but at least a little smarter) and on and on up. I doubt that's a coincidence. But if that's how my personal situation worked out, smarter (not too much smarter, she'd not appreciate a good LAN party) than me wouldn't be a horrible thing.

Why wouldn't he?

I don't mind dating a guy not as smart as I, so why should he mind?

It's hard to find one in the USA anyway! *Sigh!* LOL! :D

"smarter how?
I know people who are extremely book smart but are clueless when it comes to handling real life situations or exhibiting any common sense.

Whatever the case may be, of course"

Good question! I must confess that I'm not street smart, but my man makes up for that! ;) Hehehe!

Seriously, though, each person has different definition of "smart". It's such a generic word. If you really mean high IQ, I don't care for one at all. In fact, I try to avoid guys with really high IQs. First off, I'm not ready to risk my kids' health. Secondly, such guy is usually not mature in the relationship aspect.

I want a moderate guy I can easily impress with my gifts! ;) Hehehehe! ;) :D

I think intelligence is a turn on. Especially if we can discuss intellectual type topics in length and not be bored ;)
