I'm smart enough to know that if I was a girl, I wouldn't date me. Thus when girl dates me, she isn't smart enough to know not to date me. Thus its impossible for my girl friends to be smarter than me

Yes, I'm dating one now. And in the near future I'll be marrying this one too. She's the 1st in all her class and ranted #1 in her department during the University years. She's got almost all A's in her classes and could probabily process or think faster than I. But thats in her field of study. when it comes to math and science I'm pretty much evens myself with her. but I do make more money than her thats a plus. Also when it comes to logic and normal day to day awareness I think I'm a more self smart person. I wouldn't say anyone is smarter or dumber(sp?) but everyone's got something they're special in and knows alot about. If a female can out smart you in every single field then its time to move on unless she don't rub it on.

Anyway, as for my answer to the topic, yes I would date a girl smarter than me. However, I don't think I could date someone in my specific field of study. My last GF (of 3.5 years) was way smarter than I am, though she thought otherwise. She could out write me and run circles around me in most arguments/debates/logical discussions. She had an amazing ability to remember facts she would read out of magazines and books (ie she could recall the caloric content of common foods off the top of her head, not an easy task). I had her beat in math and science, but that is only because she never applied herself in those areas.
