I am very aware that I could be robbed at gunpoint, or be a victim of another violent crime, but I will still not own a gun. I would do my best to defend myself without a gun.
You are well within your rights to make that decision for yourself, but would you tell (as mentioned earlier) a 90 lb. woman that she would have to make do with pepper spray against one or more 250 lb. attackers?

No, I would hope that a 90 lb female would have more common sense then to let something happen to her. Yes, violent crimes do happen, but often times, it is because your in the wrong place at the wrong time or you just arent aware of your surroundings. I would tell a 90 lb female to defend herself with her own common sense.

hah.. so you are saying that if a 90lb female gets raped its her fault for putting herself in that situation?? or that she has no common sense..

I, also, am interested in what krunchykrome?s response is.

I would not want to live in a world where everyone owns a gun. There are many other safe measures to take before purchasing a gun.

Actually, I meant your comment about women not having common sense if they are a victim of a violent crime. That's a patently stupid account. And, for me, a very personal one. One of my best friends was the victim of a rape. Are you telling me she has no common sense? Do you know how asinine of a thing that is to say?

Yeah I am still waiting for a repsonse to this question KrunchyCracker, You succesfully avoided it way back on pgs 2-3. Will you do so now. Enlighten us CrunchyCracker. You could also repsond to my post where I stated a firearm was successfully used to defend my home when I was younger.

RESPONSE?

<trollsanonymous>Hello, my name is KrunchyKrap and I am a troll.</trollsanonymous>

Please stop quoting the entire thread. There is no reason for quoting anything but that statement to which one is directly replying, not the previous 20 posts which came before it.

I was being sarcastic.

Jesus Christ! Is ATOT finished running a train on my as$?

You gun owners have your opinion, and I will have mine. I dont think any of us are going to change our opinions. Some comments I have made may have been too sarcastic or stereotypical for you....but to be quite honest with you....I dont give a sh*t. End the gun thread.

 You got owned because you were wrong. Now you are whining about getting owned. Good job.

But in any event, dont let those objective measures of reality get in the way of your opinions. Just keep telling yourself guns are bad, only poor people own them, and that you can always defend yourself with your bare hands.
