Between November 2012 and now you bought 15 firearms? 😵

😵 for me as well!

I bought a Taurus PT92, Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro, 2 different Sig Sauer P238 (one for me and one for the fiancee), 1 Benelli M3 clone shotty (Tristar Tec 12), and 1 AR 15. That's pretty much it for me.

Wasn't worried about getting a bunch of 22's for the guns as there are fairly cheap conversion kits for several of them.

Haha yeah that's quite a purchase. A few years ago or so I bought on two occasions within about a month, maybe six weeks, of each other:

- WASR 10/63 AK
and
- Mosin Nagant and Sig P226 .40 cal

During the call to the NICS for the second purchase, they didn't approve me right away as normal and I had to wait a few days for the gun shop to call me back and say I was approved. Apparently I was flagged (or something) for buying too many guns haha.

Different configurations maybe? Or buying up a bunch for investments?

I have several AR's myself, but none of them are the same configuration. Variety is the spice of life.

If he bought them for an investment, now's a good time to start selling them.

You probably accumulated yours over several years, not all in a couple of months.

I like variety to, which is why I shoot lever action, bolt auction, semi automatic, pump, and black powder, and not 10 variants of the same gun.

It's because I'm stupid and unimaginative.

I found that as soon as I get another AR, I start to naturally configure it like all the other ones. Magpul ACS-L stock, Hogue grip, BUIS, Grippod, MOE hand guard, red dot sight, etc. They're all like fraternal twins. Which is why I need some advice as to what to get next. If left to my own devices, I'd probably have a dozen similarly configured ARs.

I know I'm going to get crap for this, but I'll be honest.

I haven't fired a single shot on any of those guns yet. I wish I had the time, but I don't.

Meh I don't care if they are decorative pieces on your mantle. I suggest going shooting though Lol.

Why so many duplicates? I mean, specifically on the AR15s... I can understand a few configs, but six? And not shooting them?

I'm with TallBill; shooting is fun. That delayed "piiinngg!" of jacketed lead on steel... it brings the biggest grin to my face.

I currently own a RRA AR. I could see getting a 458 Socom for hunting, an SBR 9mm, a 300 BLK since 556 ammo is insane, but that's about the extent of my personal desires in the AR platform.

Of course I'll have to see what happens with laws and also if rifles will ever be available again. At least I already have a shitload of mags. I chose 458 and 300 blackout as future calibers because of their performance as well as use of a standard ar mag.

FYI, Turner's got a new shipment in of Mega lowers this morning. It's unannounced, so very few people know about it. $159 each with a limit of 2 per customer.

I think he is referring to the current high price of 5.56, as in 40 cents a round or higher, assuming you can even find it in stock. This is not bad for many calibers but for one that is the primary NATO round and that is manufactured on a huge scale this is quite a ripoff.

I like that my 7.62x39 ammo is still "cheap" but it's just plain hard to find in stock 🙁

Cheaper Than Diamonds has always been stuck on full retard

First they said they weren't going to sell guns online anymore. Then the backlash made them change their minds.

Then price gouging so bad on magazines that even they were embarrassed by it.

Once the panic buying stops, and inventories return to normal, I think they'll have lost a lot of customers.

lol... even Cabelas raised the prices on most of their ammo. Kudos to companies like Brownells and Palmetto State Armory that are keeping prices at non-stupid inflated points.

PSA usually has good prices but Brownells prices, and other place like Midway are usually more expensive.

Add a 10/22 Ruger Takedown and a Yugo SKS into the collection. Got the SKS by trading an AR lower, 300 bullets and cash. Can't think of anything else to buy, but then again there's very little left to buy. Everything is sold out and I'm just buying whatever dregs are available.
