Bottle is way superior to can, anyone that says otherwise has no taste in beer.

I don't honestly recall ever having thrown up after imbibing Guinness... North American draughts to be sure, but never Guinness...
that's because guinness turns into a ball of lead in your belly and makes you want to stop drinking it before you get to the point of having to puke.

Guinness is the only beer that I recommend the can over the bottle.
Really? I'm looking at a bottle right now that says brewed and bottled in Ireland. But I'm in Mexico so maybe our imported comes from Ireland and the US imported comes from Canada.Originally posted by: kogase
Bottled Guiness is brewed in Canada. Canned Guiness is brewed in Ireland.
NEVER Guinness. It makes my stomach happy.Originally posted by: blakeatwork

Where's the option for tap?
As much as I like Guiness, I prefer Black & Tans.

Can's are meant to be poured into a glass a few seconds after opening and not drank from the can.
weird, time-released widgets. learn something new every dayThe can is engineered to release the nitrogen and co2 all at once during the opening of the bottle.
yea... unfortunately, i'm not living in the land of the irish. Wish I were. american beers have gone downhill since 1800.Also I thought pretty much all guinness sold in the US is brewed in canada.
currently "down"....lol, *whisper* they don't want us to know!I know they have 50 total brewery's accross the world, but the part of their site explaining this is currently down.
true that! don't know if i can get a guinness barrel around here, but it'd go bad before I can drink all of it.Also I always suggest guinness on tap if available, but only if it's poured correctly!

BTW, if I can't get it on tap, which I can't in Mexico, I prefer Guinness in the can but the last time I bought some there was only bottled Guinness.
