legal drinking age is a fabrication of the law. you can vote, get a firearm, smoke and die for your country at 18. heck! you can be a porn star at 18. So why not drink? Like they have in Amsterdam (and mybe Ireland, though i think they have age restirctions now)... as long as you can see over the bar, you can drink. *tip yer glass to mine and toast!*

My cousin just turned 14, he's much taller than me. But I agree. I just sent in my Selective Service registration card, and I'm still waiting 3 years to buy a beer.

Toilet.

the porcelain throne is for . . . after ;)

:Q

:(

I don't honestly recall ever having thrown up after imbibing Guinness... North American draughts to be sure, but never Guinness...

that's because guinness turns into a ball of lead in your belly and makes you want to stop drinking it before you get to the point of having to puke.

who said anything about "throwing up"? . . . the porcelain throne is multi-purpose ;)

after 8-10 draught [from a keg] pints in Dublin, i tended to get a little queasy . . . a lot more would rarely make me throw up unless i also drank other liquor
:Q

To be sure, I spent a fair amount of time in Rathmine Inn drinking Guiness, and as much or more in Temple Bar.. ;)

It's kind of funny when non-Irish get all snobby about Guinness.. :D
