Just because you don't does not mean developers don't cater to pvp. Which a huge portion of audience does.

I mostly play with people that only do PvE, and plenty of them are the same with regards to opinions of PvP.

Just because you only play PvP, doesn't mean everyone else does. Your assumptions about what people prefer are no more accurate than mine.

On top of this, I dont' see why balancing is catered towards PvP--especially when most games separate balancing for each style. skills in PvE tend to have different components when playing on dedicated PvP maps.

GW1 designed the game rather thoroughly that way.

i had 0 problems taking on 2-3 lvl 30 normal mobs while i was 29 as mesmer, clones lasted atleast 2 hits, phantasms atleast 3 hits

/speced for condition dmg

so i just played with my mes in wvw... Veil is such an awesome skill... drop it when everyone's retreating... everyone stealths.

in general i was destroying stuff today... lvl 20. mostly staff. i do switch to scepter + torch to pop stealth sometimes. and scepter is good for spamming gates... takes about as long to generate 3x clones as it does for the cooldown on shatter + confuse.

I managed to finish up my Engineer to full completion of the starting zone, I can safely say it's the most dreadful class in the game thus far... and I've played all of them to level 14 except for Ele and Mes. Engineer... yikes, just not my thing I guess. It's tied with Necro for my "least fun while playing" class.

With that said, I'm super psyched for the full release but I do have one major concern - the voice acting for the Norn characters hasn't felt quite right to me for either the male or female characters. I'm referring to the voice of your character here. They just don't seem all that involved in the conversations, there's a lack of inflection in their voices that would normally keep the listener interested. Maybe this is "the Norn way" but I don't know if I want to listen to that type of voice acting throughout 80 levels of gameplay. Sounds silly but that's actually kind of a big deal for me, so I'm wondering if anyone played both the Human and Norn and had any thoughts on whether the Human characters are voiced in a more interesting manner.

The three-day Headstart Access will officially begin at 0:00 AM Pacific time (GMT -7:00) on 25 August. However, please note that in order to ensure that we’re fully prepared for that fateful hour we may bring servers online up to 3 hours prior. If you’re a player committed to getting in first to grab that character name of your dreams you’ll want to be keeping an eye on things during that time period.

Cant wait!
