Yeah I am gonna try to do this in the next 1-2 weeks. I have no time and energy because of work. :( Also I need to a little more research about exactly which one to pick since each bar is a different size.

Actually, warranty is something that you CAN cancel, but you'll get a prorated amount back depends on how they calculate it. I bet if I cancel now, I'll lose a couple of hundreds. Actually, I think the warranty is for 100K, or 5 yrs. And I fought with them to bring the price on it down to 1300, but they took it out of the car and put it back. I didn't really care, cuz the paper was signed.
u know that the warranty does not come from the dealer right? it is from a 3rd party... (well at least in my case) that 3rd party is making money, and the dealership is also making money.. so who they shafted?? customers....
I used to be a salesman too, and have sold warranty on high end electronics. Warranty is not entirely that bad, if you use it, chances are, I won't, but it makes the gf feels better. If I can find a better third party that sales it to me cheaper, I'll go and cancel it.

This is not the first car we have together, I've been living with her for about 4 yrs now. Don't jinx me, or else you won't get to ride in the Skyline when I get it. :p

An automatic family car with enough power to burn your car with no compression on two cylinders.

For someone who drives a "sports car" thats as fast as a corolla, you're one to talk smack about other people's cars. :D

hey, OS, long time no talk, miss my driving? (not)

anyway, why would you say the 2.4L on the TSX is crap when it has 40 more horsepower than the 'standard' 2.4 on the Accord?

It's mostly just heads, ECU, and like one other thing. The TSX isn't that much faster anyway - the 17" wheels among other things slow it down to the point that the I4 + stick on the Accord is just about as fast as the TSX, especially if the Accord is an EX with the alloy wheels. (Weigh around 32lbs with tire compared to 40+ for the TSX) The TSX seems to be a much funner car to drive and sportier

How come you didn't get the Infiniti G35? After doing a quick pricing on edmunds, you can get a loaded G35 (premium package, nav) for only 5K more (or less, depending on your negotiation skillz)....and when you are spending 30k or so for a car, what is a another 5k?

Pix updated. It's really easy for some to say that I can get this or that for this much and that much, or I should have gotten another thing instead (go to a dealer, and let me know how easy it is for you to get this or that for certain amount of $$$). Bottom line is, I got a good deal, the car is very nice, to any one's standard, and I'm keeping the biotch.

I've never bought a new car before but, so I'm abit confused. Do you guys really put alot of effort into haggling? I mean if you dont like the price, you can always take your business eles where right. ??

Nice choice! My mom has the same car, but silver with black leather interior. It is fast as hell (well compared to my old Civic and my newer 4 cylinder Accord).

Congrats on the new car...

However, I am with the others here who think spending ~$30K on an accord is pretty outrageous. I always thought accords had pretty high quality interiors, but for some reason the interior as pictured in your pictures looks surprizingly cheap. Possibly it's that wood trim that's giving me that overall impression, because that wood trim looks terribly cheesy. This is just my opinion though, I'm sure it's a great car in person.

honestly, from the bottom of the heart:
TSX looks much better than the Accord. (coupe or sedan)

come on guys? don't you all agree? ???? :) :? :) :?

It's not "crap", but the TSX has no balls. The TSX has heavy ass 17s that weigh 48-49 lbs rim, tire and air. I have a 2003 i4 accord and my steel wheels weigh 39 lbs for the same criteria. Plus the curb weight of the TSX is heavier than the accord. Those two factors suck up a lot of the paper 40 HP difference.

For an auto TSX and auto i4 accord, I suspect the accord will actually have better throttle response for daily driving. The TSX has to deal with those two weight issues, both engines behave about the same below 5k rpms and the first two gear ratios on the AT for both cars is the same.

okay, anyways, correct me if I am wrong,
the 2.4L 4 banger is the K24... stroker version of the K20, the same engine found in RSX?
and what happen to the H-series engine? (the one in Prelude right?)
