This could actually happen, considering Adam Warlock's cocoon was in GotG at the Collector's, and during the Howard the Duck extra scene, you see the cocoon has been hatched.
Oh, I know. =)

As an aside to the discussion, as told as only Chris Pratt could tell it:

Weekend at Tony's!
We have a little kid so it's been difficult to get a time to see this movie. I wanted to see this movie myself, but my wife vetoed that because she wanted to see it with me. So, we've been waiting to find someone to babysit the little one while we went to the movie... but then a friend told her something about the move, and now my wife has changed her mind, and I'm back to going to see it on my own again.
I have three options within reasonable driving distance:
Regular 2D
Regular 3D
IMAX 3D
Problem is 3D often gives me a headache, and furthermore I generally dislike movies that aren't built for 3D when they are 3D-ified. In the latter case I'd rather just go see it in 2D. OTOH, I saw Gravity in 3D IMAX, and thought it made use of the 3D really well, and I didn't get a huge headache either.
Is Guardians of the Galaxy worth seeing in 3D, and particularly, 3D IMAX? If so then I'll pick a 3D IMAX theatre. (Further away, and parking not free.) If not, I'll just go to a decent local theatre in 2D.
2D. always 2D.
I saw it last night, not sure what to expect because nothing ever lives up to the hype. It didn't make me cum in my pants, but it was good, probably the first "popcorn flick" I've really liked. I'm going to make a point of seeing this again later with some friends and drinks.
I figured that's what the friends and drinks were for on the second viewing.Isn't that a good thing, though? Or did you think you were going to a different type of theater?

Well, I mean,.Star Lord's ship would look like a Jackson Pollock painting
I feel like this joke was missed by a lot of people. =(
The delivery on it was so good.
You guys referring to Phanuel's reference here, or the actual joke int he film?
--I got them both, and I chuckled both times, btw. :Colbert:

By far the best joke in the film in a movie that was full of very uneven comedy.

Actually the 3D option at my local theatre is UltraAVX. I think it is 4K high frame rate 3D with a better sound system. No regular cheap 3D option. We have a little kid so it's been difficult to get a time to see this movie.
