@[member=john925] is gtx 770 great card for 1080p gaming?
I don't see why not. Depends on what you plan on playing. I wound up getting a gtx 750 ti. I haven't been able to run it yet though, still waiting for my memory to come in. You might not be able to run the newest games on max though. But with that processor and card, you shouldn't run into too many problems.

Depends on the price, if it's 2GB or 4GB version and on what games you want to play. If you want the best all-around gaming card on a budget, a used after-market HD7970Ghz (aka R9 280X) is impossible to beat overall.

If you are going to sink in hundreds of hours into Project CARS, Anno 2205, FO4, then GTX960 4GB for $156 is a good deal. Here is how to get that:

Add a cheap $1 filler on Newegg, grab a $200 GTX960 4GB, use $25 off $200 AMEX deal, and send the $20 rebate, you end up with a GTX960 4GB for $201 - $25 - $20 = $156.

Stay away from 1GB whatever you do.

I'd add to that = stay away from GTX750/750Ti cards, unless the CPU is just as slow as those cards.

Gtx 960. Also make sure you get minimum of 2GB VRAM, I had a HD 7850 2GB crossfire and I had to get rid of that because of limited VRAM @1440p. Shame because when it scaled right and VRAM wasn't maxed they were very near if not on par with my R9 290.

Dude, instead of constantly asking specific questions without any context that are slightly different from one another, just tell us your budget and we can give you a good PC build or a good upgrade path.

What is your budget?

I think there's an misunderstanding. What i meant was can 300w run either one of the card. Not put 2 together in 1 manchine.

Yes, it should if you pair it with a reasonably power efficient CPU such as an i3/i5/i7 at stock speeds.

Gpu speed on par with i5 650. Eg.1300mhz with 1300mhz. to prevent from bottleneck. Is bottleneck is equal to lagging and stuttering?
