I was riding a 9800GTX for over two years. It had a Xtreme 9800 triple fan cooler on it. Idle was 33c and full load....3 hours of Furmark, it would only rise to 51c. Excellent cooler. It also overclocked to 875 core/ 2200 shader/ 2580 memory :) Going to be using it as a physx card though probably. At least once the damn Sabertooth gets here.

Mine wasn't the "+" version. It was the first revision EVGA.
I've actually owned the 5850, 5870, gtx 470, gtx 480, gtx 460, gtx 280 within the last year.:) The 9800gtx + was just a throw in on a trade I made. I haven't been gaming much so I sold my gtx 480 and now the 9800gtx is gonna be my main gaming card. Already feeling kinda weird about that thought. I'll probably have a gtx 580 in a month or so. I wish I could just buy a gpu and keep it.

The benchmarks are around, the GTX 560 is performing below the HD 5870, just like I said. =) If its priced accordingly, it might be a GTX 460 worthy succesor.
