I dont think those scores are crap, if Nvidia get the price right then they are onto a winner. Better performance than the GTX 470 and Radeon 6870 is impressive if you ask me.

Just ran the dx11 benchmark on a Intel 980X (non-OC'd) with SLI'd GTX480's. Got 5121 in SLI, and 5056 with SLI disabled.. Just for comparison numbers..

That looks solid to me, but that information is not nearly enough to judge this card yet.

Need some actual games and a proper review. If the thing can hang with the 6950, which it looks like it might be able to stay close enough to be indistinguishable in gameplay, i'd be very impressed.

If this thing is priced to compete with the 6950 (amd price cut consideratios) then things would get really interesting.

Nice. I didn't mention though that, I'm at work and I'm supposed to be benching new manufacture 512GB C400's (not C300's) and PCIe Tbyte SSD cards. I betcha my drive benchmarks are better 🙂. Too bad I cant share the numbers though. That's an awesome FM score though.

Let me know how much those drives raise your 3DMark scores.

Anyone have a 460 that can run vantage and 11 with 822mhz core and 1002mhz memory?

Preferably with an Intel Quad? 460 with an X4 or X6 won't give an accurate comparo.

That score isn't a world record breaker, but they're not bad either, it performs slightly faster than the HD 5850, I think that the card might even rival the HD 5870 which is no slouch of a card.

Those scores are crap. 🙁

I don't take stock in 3dmark, but the graph shows the gtx560 TI being about 10% faster than a gtx470, and more than 30% faster than a gtx460 - pretty much in line with how it SHOULD perform relative to other Nvidia chips.

Yea , I guess we guessed right.🙂

I guessed "as fast a a 5870" about a month ago. 🙂

Yes we did. Nvidia just needs to price this card appropriately now. Seeing as how the original gtx460 1 gig launched at $220-230, and the both the gtx570 and gtx580 launched at the same price points of their predecessors, there should not be too much of a problem for a good price of the gtx560 at launch.

920/980 = 4022 with my setup.
Thats a overall score, I noticed , i7's return slightly higher, that would probably be the magic 4100.

Extra shaders didn't make much of a difference. Seems like its just 2-3fps more than an equally clocked 460. Looks like a good competitor to the 6870. Not the 6950 though.

Ok so a gtx460 @ 940 core is about equal to a stock gtx560.
Thats about 5870 performance, I was right on target.

Thanks alot Notty.

NVMD... Looks like I can't read.

Looks to be a good card. Might want to clock it = to a 460 and see how much the extra shaders benefit versus the clock.

clock for clock its only going to be 14% better at best. so if the gtx560 doesn't oc much more than a gtx460 then it will not be impressive to those who would already oc their gtx460. depending on the actual price the gtx460 will still be the much better bargain if that matters.

personally I think we will see a 6870/6850 situation with the gtx560. by that I mean we will have that 820mhz model that is already close to its limit and a reduced clocked gtx560 that can be oced close to the same max as the 820mhz model.
