That is a IMPRESSIVE power circuit.
Compared to the gtx 460 cyclone (my card) I count 10 capacitors, that model with the 8-6 pin has 20 !

All that 'refinement' must be the magic to attain some impressive clock speeds. If 1000mhz and/or more is reality, find out tomorrow.

<----Still waiting to see an EE version of the EVGA cards. Please release these. And except for Galaxy and the "white" version. these cards are butt nasty looking lol.

Edit: EVGA is the "one" and "only" brand of Nvidia card I will buy.

If that triple slot cooler isn't the quietest and coolest running gtx560, then ASUS failed miserably.

If i had to guess i'll say 900 core is what the majority of cards will start out at. That DirectCU II card looks like a monster. Hello 1.1Ghz core

How's performance compared to the gtx 480? I just sold my gtx 480 and my beastly 9800 gtx+ will be taking it's place lol! Man I'm a tight wad. How's this gonna affect 460 pricing?

460 will probably be renamed 560 SE

I'm guessing the gtx560 will be about 5-10% faster than a gtx470. So whatever scores you see for a gtx470 in a given benchmark, add 5-10% to it. I don't see the gtx460 dropping too much in price immediately, as most are already around or under $200.

I was riding a 9800GTX for over two years. It had a Xtreme 9800 triple fan cooler on it. Idle was 33c and full load....3 hours of Furmark, it would only rise to 51c. Excellent cooler. It also overclocked to 875 core/ 2200 shader/ 2580 memory Going to be using it as a physx card though probably. At least once the damn Sabertooth gets here.

Mine wasn't the "+" version. It was the first revision EVGA.
