GTA3 out?

I asked the guy at Electronics Boutique today. He said it shipped today and they should have it (for sale) tomorrow. Can't wait.
 
That game looks pretty fun. I did hear something kind of disturbing about it though. I heard that you can have relations with a prostitute and then beat her to gain back health. Is that true?

You pick up a prostitute, drive to a deserted alley, and the car starts shaking and your health goes up.
You drop her off, pay her, then kill her and take your money back.

I just saw the FLT release, but couldn't get my hands on it....

had to go through many hubs and saw only one copy.

You could only play with a top-down (or bird's eye) view in previous games. In this one, itll be third person glory. GTA3 will really be interactive. Do anything to anyone at anytime. No rules.

Does one need any more justification for purchasing this game?

Hang on there if you are looking for a warez release. The rip may be out there, but the ISO hasn't been released yet. At least, according to NFOrce and ISOnews.

I like the new computer game boxes used nowdays. They look better and take up less space.

These little things called "keyboards" and "mice" work wonders for controlling games like that on the PC. You must be a console gamer (no offense, I do both). Once you go to a keyboard and mouse, you'll never (want to) go back!!
 
Anybody of any place discounting it? I might head to Best Buy and nab it because of all they hype surrounding it, but if it's $50 I'll pass.

Oftentimes the large vendors, like CompUSA and BB, seem to discount major new titles within the first few weeks after release; we shall see. GTA3 seems to be very seldom discounted for PS2, and it has to be one of the most-anticipated titles in a long time, so it may or may not be discounted anytime soon. I for one am going to pick it up today to try out my new PC setup.

It has been released now by DEViANCE. Just a heads up for those interested in this "version" of the game.

(no, I don't have it, nor can I help anyone get it...I'm just relaying a bit of news...it was posted on isonews a hour or so ago)

 
Any mIRC users out there wanna suggest some servers and channels other than #efnet? After I lost my t3 connection I've been sparsely hitting up mIRC for "other versions" of games/apps, is efnet still the place to go or just a cesspool of crazy fserves?
