Yeah problem is you don't know when they will remove your money. So you have to basically spend it all all the time to avoid them taking it away. So you can't save.

Edit: ok. Apparently what you should do is contact them immediately, asking for it to be removed, then you will probably only lose what was given to you and not everything.

That's ridiculous! If they cant tell how much of it was ill gotten then they shouldn't take away any, let alone all. The way I see it, it's their shoddy coding thats letting this take place to begin with so they should suck it up till it gets fixed.

I've got the Karuma and the garage by the motorcycles. Makes it quite a bit easier, just have to get everyone to get in the car and you drive.

Not likely a server filter would help anyway, since they could still join a US server anyhow. (just like they do in BF4, dem pings! UGH!) You would need a server that banned foreign ip addresses.

So, after making billions on the stock market I decided to buy all properties and start souping up my cars in single game mode. Got my Duke-o-death car personally customized the way I want it, took maybe 45 mins, put it in my garage at a safe house. Go to garage and BAM, car is gone! I say, well, I have billions, let me do it again and put it in my other garage that I bought earlier in the game. Customize it again, put in garage, save the game, load the game and this time the car IS in the garage but all my mods are gone. WTF!?!? This happened on my 360 version but I thought the PC would fix this!

I now know your pain. I'm still trying to understand how it works when your steal a car and park it in the garage. Do you always have to bring it back to the garage every time you take it out?

Yes. And if you use it for a mission, you could lose it. And if you store it in a safehouse garage (versus the standalone garages that you can purchase in Los Santos), it can disappear. And sometimes it will show up at police impound, but sometimes it won't. So, basically, if you buy/mod a car, save it at your standalone garage and always save immediately prior to taking it out in case you lose it. It's less of an issue late in the game when you're rich enough to buy and fully mod a car any time you want, but it's still annoying enough that it will make you think twice about bothering with custom cars at all.

How are you guys finding alt-tab behavior?

I find I get kicked out of lobbies if I alt-tab for more than a couple minutes it seems.

Making it hard to check stuff online, i gotta keep my laptop going next to me. Maybe time to invest in a 2nd monitor.

Tried out the online finally and am very unimpressed. Rockstar should stick to single player games, they do them well and there is a shortage of good SP games in the market.

Weird payout scheme indeed! I like to do ballas to the wall. Drive to the schafter, kill the 5 guys, drive around the corner, pick up a peyote, drive it back to your garage close by in exceptionalist way (use the ramp), repeat about 4 times for 13k x 4 and ~17-18k mission payout. They usually spawn immediately if you're driving one already. Not a bad 15 minutes. Just sell one whenever you log on.

Or if you just want to afk you can do blowup. Use the gasoline to save ammo. afk for 15 minutes then drive back to simeon's garage.

You can also solo docks to stock (i think it's called) much more easily if you take the cargo bob, fly straight up as high as possible, and stay in the military base's airspace the police choppers won't come near and you can lose the wanted level without any fuss. Then go get the container and afk for a few more minutes or so for 24k.

1min or less = 10% of base payment
1min - 2min = 25% of base payment
2min - 3min = 50% of base payment
3min - 4min = 75% of base payment
4min - 6min = 100% of base payment
6min - 8min = 120% of base payment
8min - 10min = 140% of base payment
10min - 12min = 160% of base payment
12min - 15min = 180% of base payment
15min or more = 200% of base payment

If you want/need to work on skills then it's good to do so after starting a mission. Doesn't feel so tedious when you know you're getting paid for it.

Just did a 15 minute session now.

After just 15 minutes. Only cars I had already were a plain peyote and a tornado. So that's 5 x gang peyote (sells for 13k).


if driving there with a peyote (kind of have to follow a particular route, but just experiment. there's another spawn location around the corner. once you do find a good route just do it again for repeatable results):

shortcut back to the garage. Takes about 18 seconds.

After 4-5 peyotes you finish the mission for:

83k in 15 minutes. There's a ls customs just down the street. If you don't want to wait the 48 minutes between selling them you can kill the gta5 process from task manager right after selling, and relog. With the loading times I don't bother. Plus that's probably not kosher. Just sell whenever.

final note: it's probably the best secondary garage anyway (close to airport for pegasus access, close to ls customs, etc).

just started messing around with online and up to level 15. I didnt buy a house and went straight to the airport 10 car garage so I can drive 30 seconds to a heli at airport. SO NICE!

Really want a Kuruma armoured soon! Getting those missions out of the way. Halfway to a nice apt now after pimping out my RS. well it will be an RS when I can install a damn turbo....


I was wrong about GTA online. Its actually crazy fun once you get to level 10. At first it really seems like there isnt shit to do.

Anyone else get a ctd after a few hours of gameplay? Seems like there is a memory leak in online when using DSR. When I used native res the crash went away.
