Well, the latest is that, on the same motherboard (S3) that my Crucial PC-8000 will do 490 (that may be the motherboard limit), the PC-8500 will only so 475. At least thats better than 400.....I have checked the vdimm and settings, trying to run at rated specs 5-5-5-15 and 2.3 (I have also tried 2.4 thats what it says right on the memory) It won;t go 5 minutes in memtest at anything over 470 so far.
