i'm really surprised that HOAs don't seem to prohibit the actual owner from renting/leasing out the unit they bought. the recent glut of so-called "real estate investors" are ruining good neighborhoods because they don't know/don't care enough to properly screen tenants.

my neighborhood would be pretty nice except that it's now probably at least 80% foreigners... foreigners that really like to drink and are not irish ;)

Find the leader of their group, hand out a vicious beat down in front of all of them, the rest will fear you from there.

You're in florida, the gunshine state. Grab your 22, a box of aquila colibri, then have yourself some stew.

Note, I do not condone killing of other people's pets and don't see a big deal. Rabbit in your spot once, you moved it. It hasn't even happened a lot yet. If it continues, then proceed with the stew plan.

Calling the cops on them for drinking is the worst idea. Don't go down that road.

i guess that depends on how many different units can see the underage drinking. it could be anyone who called them in.

Eh..as long as they aren't making noise or anything, and the bunny isn't messing w/ your property, I don't see the big deal. If you run over it, you run over it, and it's their problem.

Its not the fact that its a bunny that has me on edge, its the fact that these idiots can't care for the cute little thing. I feel bad for it.

It's no fun with living with kids like that, but... Have you tried to chase down a bunny? It's not that easy. I guess maybe you can get it to come towards you with food or something, but rabbits always run away from me. :(

Bunnies are waterproof.

Common knowledge.

Try to contact the owners, maybe through the HOA? Hope they got a HUGE security deposit from them, I can imagine the damage these kids are doing to the inside.

so the bunny got out again, this time another neighbors girlfriend found him (actually, she said she almost ran over him). She took him home and put a note up by our mailboxes, so I called and let her know whats going on.

PSA: bunnies get scared very easily. If they get too scared they die.

Amazon has an excellent airhorn for 25.99 with free shipping and no tax for most states

;)

ahahahahahahha that's great.

On a side note, why don't you go join one of their parties sometime? Dress nicely, and then just go over and start drinking. After a bit, start acting strange, and suddenly break down crying. Continue to act very strangely. After a bit, mutter something (loud enough that they can hear) about really liking your new neighbors, and mention that you will come to every party you hear/see.

They will cower in fear in their basement for the rest of the time you live there.

Yeah, I don't think Amazon has tax for CA, which is surprising, because the Governator taxes us for the sunlight. least I dont think we have tax. It doesnt say so whenever I buy something from amazon.com

Take tons of pictures. Log the events. File police reports. There are so many things wrong with this it is ridiculous.

Get the HOA to enforce the rules regarding the damage to the building. Have them send the bill to the owner.

Call the cops often, insist when you're on the phone that they be ticketed as this is the nth occurrence, and have the tickets sent to the homeowner to pay.

Get the owner to pay enough for their crappy tenants and you can get ANYONE to move out. I've done it, it works.

Right, and they should be prepared to get what they deserve if it comes to that.
