I like to use my George Forman.

I cut a few onion slices and grill them in the G.F. until translucent.

I smear a little Grey Poupon on one slice of bread (Honey Wheat) and add the cheese (grated cheddar) .

I add the cooked onions to the sandwich, and then I spray a little Pam Cooking Spray on each side of the sandwich.

about 3 minutes in the G.F. and let it sit for about 1 minute.

mmmmm....so good 🙂

holy crap, i'm hungry now.

I'm a lot more classic:

Butter the outside of the bread.
Shredded chedder and mozzerella in the middle.
Teflon pan until dark golden brown.

BBQ chips are a must, on the side.

I put in whatever random veggies I have.
Onions, tomatoes, green peppers. Some horseradish sauce works well too.

Brownberry Health Nut Bread
Whatever cheese I have in the drawer
Butter Bread
Cook in sandwich maker or on stove top

I will give you the secret to great grilled cheese. Don't butter the outside of the bread; use mayonnaise instead. Don't ask me why.

Also, as big a cheese fan as I am, there is just something amazing about making grilled cheese with Velveeta.

Sometimes I tuck tomato, bacon or bread and butter pickles into them.

Here is what I do:
[*]Put 2 slices of bacon in a pan.
[*]Fry until crisp.
[*]Remove bacon.
[*]Genty slide bread through bacon grease.
[*]Poor remaining grease into cup if I need more later.
[*]Put bread, cheese slices (usually cheddar and pepper jack), bacon strips, and tomato slices into skillet.
[*]Fry until bread is lightly browned. I don't like burnt bread. Cheese won't likely melt fully yet.
[*]Microwave 10 seconds to fully melt cheese.

Fancy: Dip into homemade tomato soup.
Fancy: Dip into homemade chilli.
Simple: Dip into ketchup.

1. Butter outside of bread.
2. Add Kraft sliced cheese.
3. Cook on skillet.
4. At end of cooking, smash until sandwich is about one slice of bread thickness.
5. ...
6. PROFIT!

I use monterey jack cheese and put one slice of prosciutto inside.

The secret to a good grilled cheese sandwich is lightly toasting the bread before grilling it.....never gets soggy that way.

I usually make them in a teflon pan. I like to add tomato too. And sometimes some fried, sliced ham.

I've only used the kraft singles (slices), but I hear that velveeta works great.

I'd think about trying that, if mayonnaise wasn't one of the most repugnant substances in the known universe.

Sometimes I stick 2 pieces of bread with a slice of cheese on each under the broiler for a minute or two.

Other times I'll put onion and tomato slices and pan fry it.
