Police and Fire salaries and benefits are bankrupting our cities. So the obvious way to fix this problem is- screw over the teachers and the teachers' union.

Can't be much if you're complaining about someone make 12 dollars/hr. I also like how you drone about your tax dollars going to someones healthcare. I think we get the picture. Tear everybody else down to your level. Your hard work is the only reason there are bridges, policemen, spaceships, and nuclear submarines. Your just another rigid ideologue who thinks himself a self made man. Aside from your employer at the Cracker Barrel, what industry isn't subsidized by government and vice versa with private industry?

On a much broader point Americans really need to start addressing the mental health of the nation. We have some really sick and hurt people who desperately need some decent health care.

it's politics. support your constituents no matter the cause.
it would be same story, different group if it were democrats so don't act like this doesn't go both ways.
 
Well, now that the repubs got their tax breaks for the rich and their corporate welfare system is still intact because they're being absolutely silent on that subject, they're all set to go union busting and dismantling the middle class.

Then, as soon as you guys get the trifecta back, you can quit yer bitching and moaning about balancing the budget to get rid of the unions, social security and all other forms of gov't social programs and just legislate them out of existence like you promised......go ahead.....just try it.😀

You can't expect them to fix overnight a mess that took years to create. I've been wanting to say that so badly. I think I'll use it more often.

This could work very well for republicans if democrats keep this up. It proves the point that dems are hellbent on stealing tax payer money and giving to entitled spoiled brats who skip work because of the crime of having to pay a little bit for their insurance and retirement (which is some of the best in the country).

The tax payers are pissed off at this kind of message as working americans are trying to weather the storm. Keep it up unions, keep it up lolibtards, please, please keep it up. Only makes us stronger. Really nice to see other states following WI's lead and exposing unions and progressives for what they really are - thieves.

The liberals are starving children by closing the schools. Without the schools being open to give the kids their breakfast and lunch, the poor kids are going to starve.
