As hard as I tried to seriously envision that repulsive looking guy representing me on the world stage as POTUS, I couldn't stop from getting the giggles the moment I pictured him somehow trying in vain to look "presidential". Then, I felt horrified right afterward thinking how he would behave as president, knowing how arrogant and self-righteous he is behaving as a governor.

Utter fail just on looks alone, and that's on top of dismissing his out-of-touch grandiose theatrics.

Wasn't Taft a big boy? Wasn't he the one who got stuck in a bathtub and had to get a crew to help him out?

You're the one who began this exchange with your 100% troll attack response:
to my serious, sober, factually meaty and well-researched post on Christie's history of corruption, and now you want to lecture me on how to be taken seriously??

Piss off, troll.

Quit playing the victim.

And like I said, this thread isn't about how you hate Christie, it's about how he used a police chopper for personal use and then when called on it paid for it. You are the one who derailed the thread with your wall of TP text and then expected eveyone to take notice only to break down when no one cared.

What a disgusting fat fuck. I love it. I hope he gets stuck in the bathtub like his (apparently) favorite politician, Howard Taft.

Take tubby Christi and crackhead-looking Obama and you could build two Presidents of the ideal weight. Maybe that's the future of the American Presidency, identical twin clone co-Presidents made from blended DNA.

Probably not though.

Awwww, challenged by reading more than one paragraph of facts.

Too much for you, dear?

Blame Christie's looooooong and documented record of corruption abuse, which he's been able to get away with because of infantile ADD twerps like and loki. Why don't you two get a room and try making it through an illustrated comic and working up to adult fare from there?

Perk, you have a hard on for Christie. We understand it.

Please do not derail the thread because of it.

How is Perk derailing laying out Christi's rap-sheet of corruption in a thread about him being corrupt?o_O

Seems rather germane...I for one appreciate it being formerly somewhat believing in Christi's spiel..

Aside from the weight difference and political views, you could insert Obama in place of Christi when it comes to arrogance and self-righteous behavior. Now, I am not saying you are a partisan tool, but you might not see the comparison if you were one.

If a democrat gov had done this the resident sociopaths would have imploded.

They are imploding.

OOOOHHH, you mean only those on the right are resident sociopaths. The left are clear thinkers. As has been stated before, anyone who believes their side is always right and the other is wrong is clearly a fucktard. Both sides are far from perfect. Christi definitely should have used more common sense before using the helicopter for personal use.

I think it's hilarious that Perk is being accused of derailing a thread about Christie...with information about Christie.

Sounds to me like the ones attempting to run with this bizarre perception are the ones who have the man crush. What else (ok other than partisan zeal) could lead them to submit such an absurd claim?

Yeah, that Perk has a lot of nerve posting relevant info you don't agree with. Next he'll be posting weather data or some such rot in a thread about climate change! Just wait and see, that silly socialist-lovin loliberal will find a way to be gay in that thread too!

In other news Christie thinks if your a family of 3 and make more than $104/week, you don't need medicaid.

He probably eats more than that in a week!

While Perk has laid out the facts about Christi in doing so raises the potential that the thread will not be about him using the helo and repaying the state afterwards (suspect that it is after media story and the excrement hit the rotary impeller).

It would be advisable for a pure thread on the pro/cons of Christi be created.

Then this one can die.

Don't have a problem with lesbians at all. Just find it odd when they stand for a party that openly discriminates against them.

Do you find it odd that white people stand for a party that promotes affirmative action?

It could be cheaper to fly by helicopter than to have a motorcade, security sweeps, and disrupted traffic.

Even if it isn't, I'm a Democrat who thinks a duly elected governor can decide this petty stuff.

I don't think a governor needs a motorcade with security sweeps and disrupted traffic. He just isn't that important. If my governor passed me on the sidewalk I wouldn't even recognize him.

You know, one of the MAIN reasons this country was founded, was that we were sick of dealing with high fallutin' royalty who thought that their own shit didn't stink. The idea was that no one was born to be more important than anyone else, and a lot of early American politicians were deathly afraid of being perceived as putting on airs. Thomas Jefferson walked to his own inauguration. Abraham Lincoln would go for horseback rides ALONE around Washington. I'm not saying that these are wise decisions in this day and age, but really, who assassinates state governors? (The answer, only one in the history of the US).

Yeah and this thread should be any different than another? Almost all threads in this forum meander and at least his post was about Christie. I think your criticism is off.

Yea I'm not sure if that's really helping your point.

He ended up paying for it, AFIC this matter is over.
